The team at Veteran was terrific throughout the job…read more First of all, Jon was the only contractor out of the three I consulted who noticed we had a skirt roof, which limited installation options. I am almostt certain that there would be delays if this job was handled by someone else. Jon's price is very competitive, and he provided multiple quotes for different setups, which was extremely helpful. He was very responsive and patient, replying to emails quickly, even on weekends. This high level of communication also made the strata approval process very efficient. The installation took two days and went smoothly. The crew was friendly, respectful, and professional. I had to patch the drywall afterwards, and upon learning that, one of the team members gave me a free panel he said was leftover from his own renovation. I highly recommend Veteran for their exceptional work.

He diagnosed the issue (my home's pressure reduction valve needed replacing) within five minutes. He told me that as the valve had failed, the water pressure in my house pipes was WAY too high and said that its could damage appliances, equipment, etc. or cause a bad failure/leak. I asked if it was critical, he said yes. I, obviously concerned, agreed to the repair at the quoted cost of $660 inc GST. Little did I know he would fix the issue in perhaps 10 minutes and the part he used costs around $90 from RONA. The service tech was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I have since had quotes from two other local plumbers for $330 and $350 respectively. Unfortunately, while the tech himself was lovely to deal with, this disgusting level of profiteering is a stain on the business and the wider industry. Would definitely not recommend. Contact one of the other local guys - just as friendly and half the price (or less!).

The first year was good, although the job was somewhat shoddy. Lines/pipes visible. Black electrical tape holding things together. But, we overlooked the presentation, as we had glorious AC in sweltering BC heat. In less than a year, the unit started leaking. In our kitchen. Above our cabinets. The cabinets were ruined from the water leakage. I tried to call/email/text Joseph for follow up maintenance work. All contact attempts failed. Phone no longer in service. No calls returned. What should have been warranty work, has cost us thousands in out of pocket expenses, to prevent a shit unit & install from calving completely. Not just leakage, black mold build up, cold air blowing outside, not enough fluids, ice build up internally....absolutely brutal. This is not a cheap investment. If you want quality work, stay away from Vedder Residential and Joseph Arnusch to have work done. You'll be on your own. If I could give a zero Rating I would. Shame on you, scammer.
