We have known John for about a year when we bought a beach home with him. I am an investor that over time has seen the good, the bad and ugly representatives who were bordering on engaging in fraud. John ranks among the best of those I like to deal with - hence I am giving a rare FIVE stars. I remember discussions in his office where I would mention a property in Oxnard Shores which we saw and seriously considered 25 years ago and he will roll into a lengthy discussion on it's history and what he remembers from back then. My wife would silently turn to look at me - and later when we drove off she would remark how John knows his stuff. On the beach home we purchased John remarked how he was the one who sold that home to the current sellers. Sigh. I almost bought another larger beach house which I wish we had gone further in possibly winning that one - oh well. And I can confess that John had us close to bidding on a couple of other properties because of the confidence he instills in preparing us through his often encyclopedic knowledge of the beach properties. I might add - after we purchased the property John had valuable counsel and referrals which we used or consulted in repairing and renovating the newly purchased home. I will confess I did not use his skilled labor referrals - as I already had my own construction crew whom I've employed for 15 some odd years - but I did seek their opinions and allowed them to bid for my business. They would have been good to use had I not had my own crew. Further - once my property was finished with the renovation - John was the one who brought me my tenant. I had my signs up = but he walked a ready tenant in - who has been a decent if not superb family to have as residents. So if you are searching for an amazing realtor in the beach communities of Ventura and Oxnard - I urge you to consider John.
