What truly sets Ariel apart is how he takes full advantage of the setting. He knows exactly how to use lighting, scenery, and every little detail to create something special. Every shot felt intentional and creative. When I received my photos, I was honestly blown away, they look like they belong in a magazine. The quality, composition, and overall feel are just stunning. Quite frankly, she has set the bar too high for any other photographer to come close to achieving. Nervous at first, the free spirited artist was able to put our minds at ease in record time (seriously, she had my wife relaxed in under two minutes and a half - yes, I am anal retentive enough to time that shit). The photographer is very personable, with a keen eye for 'just the right pose'. Reviewing the shots I was (and still am actually) amazed at how well she was able to capture the moment. Ladies - Julia is sweet, warm, and kind spirited. I do not believe for a minute she'd ever ask you to do anything you're uncomfortable with. Her dedication to art ensures you will look your best when you review the photos. She WILL make you into the cover girl you've always dreamed of being. Guys - Shhh, let the ladies work, you'll be happy you did. Seriously, kind of like a wedding the moment is all about her; let her enjoy the spotlight and you'll see just how beautiful your woman really is. They say a picture is worth a thousand words - until I met Julia and reviewed some of her work I would have agreed; but after seeing the awe-inspiring art she manages to conjure with a camera lens the only word that comes to mind is "WoW". I am typically articulate to a fault; but her work leaves me speechless - every time.

Did my google searching for photographers in Houston and contacted about a dozen. Perhaps half responded they weren't available, and half didn't respond. However, one adorable young lady in Austin (3 hours away), Julia Vie of Vivian's Muse, said she was very excited about shooting me! We exchanged several emails about the process and logistics and had an extended phone chat. My trepedation morphed into excitement and anticipation. Let's do this!! The big day! Julia shot perhaps 400 photos in an hour or so, all the while offering instruction, incredible encouragement and showing me what she had captured in her viewfinder. All with a monster camera and first class professional lighting. We shot on the couch, on the stairway, in the window, on the bed. Woah, so exhilerating! Nervousness was gone and my inner goddess had taken over. I'm not one for exaggeration but this was truly one of the best hours of my life. Back the next morning to review and select proofs. Oh no, her computer jammed up, wasn't happening. No problem in the digital age. We had more girly chat, comparing notes on all of the fun we had had the preceding day. A few days later the proofs arrived via email. I was blown away. OH MY! That cannot possibly be me. But...it is! Being a goddess, even for a short while, really gets in your head. And stays there. Who would have thought the idea of having a little fun by trying something different would turn into a life changing event? Thank you so very, very much Julia! And, girls, if you have any lingering doubts about treating yourself to this experience, all I can say is do not delay, call Julia today! Hugs, Michelle

Where do I even begin with how amazing Morgan is?…read more From our very first Zoom call, it felt like we were instant friends. My fiancé and I both felt completely at ease with her and just knew she was our person. A few days before the wedding, I did a boudoir shoot with her, and she made me feel comfortable right away. I had never done anything like that before, but within minutes it felt like we had known each other forever. She guided me so effortlessly while hyping me up and making me feel like the most beautiful version of myself. She has this genuine, magnetic energy that makes you feel so confident and seen. She even turned around photos quickly so I could share them with my fiancé the morning of our wedding, and he was completely obsessed. On the wedding day, she was incredible. I truly cannot imagine the day without her. It felt like having one of our best friends there with us. She gave just the right amount of direction, making small adjustments that I know made a huge difference, while still allowing us to be fully ourselves. Leading up to the wedding, there was a 90% chance of rain. In those final days, she kept me calm and grounded, reminding me that everything would be okay no matter what. And it was. Not only did it not rain, but the sun came out, and she made sure to pull us aside for the most beautiful sunset photos. My husband also absolutely adored Morgan. She stepped in while the guys were getting ready and blended right in, joking around, matching their energy, and hyping everyone up while still capturing everything perfectly. Morgan is a phenomenal photographer and an even better human. I have shared our sneak peek photos with friends and family, and everyone is blown away. Working with KHP and her all-star team is not just a professional photography session but an experience that allows you to feel good about yourself and have that self shine in a way that feels completely authentic to you. I've had the pleasure of working with Olympia twice now -- once when I needed professionally styled headshots quite quickly for an upcoming feature/publication and once for a lifestyle shoot. To say that their product is top notch is an understatement -- no detail goes unthought of...from styling, hair and makeup, lighting, vision...and it all comes together with this fun, carefree, beautiful experience, working in their studio (and having fun as well) that makes this team worth every penny. They make it feel effortless. They also manage to compress entire sessions and selection process into short time span (though you wont feel rushed) ...genuinely, the work they do in terms of studio time would take most an entire day. A few months back, I logged into a Zoom call and noticed that my awesome headshots from that session didn't really look like me at all anymore. In this post-Covid lockdown world, as we might be tip-toeing slowly and carefully back to the world of in-person meetings and conferences, using an old headshot felt like a little bit of "bait and switch!" Let's face it, hair is longer, skin is still fabulous, but...I'm OLDER. Still awesome, still sassy, but I needed an update. This time I worked with the fabulous Olympia Roll (and again, why on earth would you make this investment without the professional makeup add-on specifically for the photographer?) who "got me" from the first minute. One thing I especially love is the super light touch on touchups and post-processing. These pictures look like me, not an air-brushed, over-filtered, a little too pose-y overly contrived version of me. Now I need to either write a book or run for office (or both! ha!) because she gave me photos that make me look and feel like a BOSS. Thank you!
