I would not let them do my taxes for free, no less the the $600.00 they wanted to charge me. I have never written a review, good or bad, for anything. I am writing this to help you all protect yourselves. I had tax returns that I needed done for two years, since I failed to file the previous year. They saud that they would prepare them for me. When I went to my appt. to sign, the preparer told me that he didn't know anything about the second year. Nobody told him that there was two yrs. Then, he tells me that he needed another document to finish. It was there, but didn't get scanned in. I told him, "No problem. Things happen. Go ahead and finish your job and I'll come back and sign for them." He told me it would take a couple of days. "No problem, I'm in no rush. Just call me and I'll come back," I say. I don't hear anything for six days. I decide to get my W2's back and go somewhere else. They tell me to come back and get my W2s. I show up and they can't find my W2s. Now they want to reprint them. I don't have all day to do something that should have taken 30 seconds. I simply wanted my paperwork, and they cant find it. So the receptionist tells the mngr. "His paperwork is right here on your desk." The mngrs arm was literally on my paperwork. I'm convinced they completely forgot about my tax return. I wouldn't trust these folks to feed my goldfish properly, let alone do something as important as doing my taxes. I would give them negative stars for a rating if I could. How in the world does H&R block stay in business? Heed my advice. Do not use these people for any type of service.

I am always stressed with trying to communicate to an accountant during tax season and usually end up filing late because of not being able to reach them/not knowing they need more information. This was the opposite of my experience this year. I just walked in with no appointment and they took my folder of information. Twice over the next few days they called and asked a few questions and were able to help me figure out what to include and what not to in my answers. Then they were done and all I had to do was e-sign. This was by far the least stressful tax process I have ever experienced. Highly recommend!
