I just want to start by saying Maureen Skinner is probably the best therapist I've ever seen in my…read morelife. She's easy to talk to, easy to feel safe around, and easy to open up to. She's amazing and this clinic doesn't deserve her. Unfortunately, that's where the compliments stop. As well as Maureen, I also saw Dr. Conley and Collin (for ADHD testing). Collin was extremely rude to me and straight up accused me of self diagnosing even after I explained to him I had been tested and diagnosed as a child and successfully treated, primarily with stimulants, for about 10 years. He tried to claim after testing that I didn't have ADHD, that I reported not having ADHD as a child during testing (my childhood was defined by my ADHD, I never would have reported otherwise), and that despite the panic attack his rudeness gave me during testing, that he believed his results were still valid and I didn't have ADHD. Again, all this despite extensive testing when I was a child and 10 years of medical treatment at multiple facilities in 3 different states (Arkansas, Florida, and Alabama) under several different doctors all of whom agreed with the ADHD diagnosis. Dr. Conley accused me of being a drug addict who couldn't distinguish reality when I told her I used medical cannabis for my migraines. She put me on Wellbutrin, a medication I had a very dangerous history of hallucinations with, and kept me on it even after I reported low level hallucinations. I was on it for 2 months and it hurt me badly. She told me that I had to take it to prove I was trustworthy enough for my stimulant medication and I later was told she had no intention of ever giving me stimulants (despite me stopping my cannabis treatment and my migraines returning to prove I wasn't an addict) and I was also told by Collin that she didn't even believe I had ADHD. At my last appointment, she lied about several of the things she had previously said and I had to bring a friend as a witness to that last appointment. Even my friend agreed that her behaviour and tone were extremely unprofessional and she has no business practising mental health.

I have had 3 other therapists in my lifetime, but Tanner Brown has been the one therapist to…read moreactually help me. I have been going to 1-2 appointments every month since December 2020. He's very supportive, understanding, and easy to talk to. Even my husband, who was nervous about going to therapy based on a bad experience he had before, loves Tanner. We actually look forward to our appointments and I think Tanner looks forward to them as well. I always let him know in advance if we need to cancel an appointment and he's always understanding. I feel that my anxieties and PTSD have been easier to manage since I started seeing Tanner, and I can tell that my husband has been more thoughtful and supportive since he started going too! Tanner just has a way of explaining and breaking things down for me that no other therapist has before!

Awful experience with Tanner Brown! I would not recommend this place to my enemies. In fact, I will…read morebe recommending against it! The counselor had a poor attitude, did nothing to attempt to help my situation, and did not make me feel valued as a client. On top of this, I was recently affected by COVID-19 and had to miss a week of work. During this time I missed a follow up appointment that Tanner made. Since then, I have received 15 attempts to charge my card for $175 in service fees. When Tanner contacted me about the missed appointment, and I explained my situation, including having a Doctors note for being quarantined, he dismissed it in an "oh well, sucks for you!" type of attitude. How can you trust a counselor to take care of your mental health when they can't even be compassionate about a medical excuse for a missed appointment? I will be following up with the Arkansas Psychology Board. I hope you're happy that the value of your clients is $175. Good luck to you!

I guess I'm going to need to stop using Groupon to find my be-all, end-all forever-and-ever nail…read moresalon in Conway. The lifelong love-affair I was hoping to have with this one is not to be. As I mentioned, I bought a Groupon for this business, for the shellac mani-pedi, and while I don't remember what I paid, I thought it was a very good deal. And let me say right up front that Andrea did an amazing job; my nails look GREAT. I chose a dark color, and she applied it expertly. But overall, the experience was pretty unpleasant. First, it was kind of awkward when I arrived for my 12:30 p.m. appointment. I walked in, and she was the only person there and was sitting at the manicure table, waiting for me, but she didn't introduce herself or ask to assist me She just said, "hi." I looked around, demonstrating I wasn't sure if I was her next appointment, etc., and said, "Hello... I have a 12:30 appointment." She said, "Sit down." So, I did. It was very warm in the salon, and when she took off her jacket, she had on a seriously stained t-shirt, for which she apologized. Then, even though it is painted on the door as you enter that clients should silence their cell phones for the enjoyment of others, her phone rang (and by "rang" I mean loudly broadcast a jarring rock song) AND SHE ANSWERED IT on speaker phone. Her daughter was calling to take her lunch order and apparently had it on speaker, too, because the woman's husband dropped the F bomb over the phone. I seriously would have left if I hadn't already bought the Groupon. She was embarrassed by this and chided him (she also thoughtfully checked to make sure I didn't want them to bring me anything). But I was not very comfortable. (She looked at her phone every time it rang, throughout the appointment.) She was very meticulous about the hygiene of the pedicure station, which I appreciated, and she again did a beautiful job on my nails. She also explained the situation and apologized because the towel she was using had several holes in it. While she was giving me a pedicure, her adult daughter arrived and told us how she noticed that her own hands "smelled like feet" from rolling carpet. This was not the most appropriate comment to make to someone giving/getting a pedicure. ! The problem with this "nail spa" was the contrast between the service it offered and the way it was offered. When you go for a mani-pedi, you are treating yourself and indulging in a little luxury. What you don't want are all of life's rough edges everywhere you turn! I probably should have seen what I was getting into when I saw the pack of Marlboroughs and the ashtray on the front porch of the salon. Really, she did a GREAT job on my nails, and she wished me luck on my marathon and gave me good tips on how to pamper my runner's feet (Vick's Vapor Rub), but I won't return, even to have her remove the shellac polish. I want pleasant, lovely, soothing, relaxing when I go to the salon. I didn't get it. 9/29/11: I just wanted to update this review by correcting the statement that the polish was applied expertly. My left thumb nail was chipped by the end of the first day (the polish is supposed to last up to two weeks), and my left pinky polish pealed off completely in less than a week. Other nails were chipping a week after the manicure, so I went to a salon in Little Rock to get it removed. They said, "This base coat is so strange. What is going on?" I won't be back to this salon.

I myself bought a Groupon for this salon, a hot chocolate Mani pedi. I recently went in for my…read moreappointment with Andrea. I unlike S.M.J, I absolutely loved it!!! I went in after work not during what I'm sure was Andrea's lunch hour in the above mentioned review. The fact she took calls from family for the lunch she was missing out to accommodate a client I see nothing wrong with. I have had no issues with the shellac Andrea applied to my nails and it's been a week since my service. I do believe everyone has an off day ever now and again. As for me and the great time I had while I was there..... I WILL BE BACK!! Andrea you can't please everyone all the time. Some people are just not satisfied
