Great massage! I came in for shoulder pain and they helped minimize the issue. I left feeling like I was floating. They took me in extremely last minute as well. I call in at 4:50 and they managed to schedule me in for 5. They charged a standard $70 for 1 hour. read more

I called earlier in the day to get an evening appointment at 7pm. Getting an appointment was quite easy. The space is clean and relaxing, and the massage was fine. Each person gets their own room. However I was not given a full hour, it was definitely more like 50 min. I got there a minute or two after 7, took a few minutes to get ready, and the massage ended at least 5 min early. The math isn't mathing. That's a whole 10 min less. But I was charged $70 and expected to tip well too. If I'm being charged for an hour, I should get a full hour. This is crazy, considering the price. I was really hoping this would be my go-to massage place. read more

Mediocre massage, also tip is optional if a customer is happy with the experience. It's not a requirement FYI

The moment you walk in you get asked HOW ARE YOU PAYING. DONT waste your time if you want to hear traffic noise and other people complaining

Friendly ,calm and clean! Great massage highly recommended - great prices and great service

I paid 100 for 90 min massage. This woman did nothing worst massage ever. Unfortunately I received a woman thats lazy. Doesn't listen. Did the bare minimal. I'm leaving in pain still. What a waste of 90 min of my life I can't get back. Go somewhere else. read more

You know that torn feeling...I have that about this review for Arkai. I want this local small business to do amazingly well and have so many appointments that they can't keep up. They deserve it! But...this is my hidden gem of a spot. Don't be taking up all my spots for massages now that the secret's out! LOL!!! Arkai is my go to massage spot. My friend actually discovered it and now we go together all the time, getting our massages in separate rooms at the same time. It's fun and their prices are right. Pro-Tip: Our first 10x here we scoped the area for street parking and paid the meters. No need for that as they have their own lot in the back, free on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. I've been here a million times now and have had many different masseuses. Keeping it real, the massages have been quite different depending on who I get. Some are better than others, hitting that magical combo of the right pressure and right moves. One lady cracks my back at the end and I am HERE FOR IT. So go in expecting your massage this time may be different than the last. Rest assured though, I've never had a bad massage at Arkai. So there you have it. My little secret for stress relief and self-care. Enjoy but...I will say it again...Don't book when I want to go! Muhaha~ #greedygal read more

Great massage from Gina! Definitely recommend this place! She's wonderful and Arkai is a neighborhood gem.

Unfortunately, I will no longer come back after coming here for years and being massaged by Joy. Joy no longer works here but I still gave this place two tries since she left and it seems she was the only one who knew how to give a deep tissue massage. I made sure to ask on the phone for someone who knows how to give an actual deep tissue massage which of course they said yes and all I got was a woman who walked on me with her feet on top of a sheet even after I asked her a few times for a hand massage with oil AND firm. It wasn't until the last 20 minutes of the massage where she said sorry and started using her hands and oil. However, it was not a deep tissue and just felt like someone with the lightest pressure putting oil on me. I left there with the same tension on my back. read more

Wonderful experience here. Jessica was amazing and I appreciate how she asked before touching certain areas (face/butt)- I haven't experienced this at other massage places before. It was one of the best massages I've ever had and I will absolutely be returning. Thank you Arkai Massage read more

I heard some good things about this place and came to check it out. They had great availability and were able to get me in within half an hour of calling. I had a 60 minute deep tissue massage. The place was clean and quiet. The massage itself was phenomenal and I honestly would have given this place 5 stars for the massage alone. However the one thing that is really making me hesitate to come back is their aggressive tipping ask. There are signs everywhere showing a suggested tip of $20-30 for a $55-65 massage which ends up being essentially a 30-50% tip. I get massages fairly regularly but I had to check myself to see if I was crazy. A quick google search says about 20% is a normal tip for massages. I gave her a 25% tip and she had a total change in her demeanor from smiling and friendly to total disappointment and refusing to look at me anymore. I don't know if it was just this therapist but if they expect more money, they should charge higher fees. Trying to tell customers that a normal tip is 30-50% of the fee feels a bit shady. It left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, and while I truly think she gave a fantastic massage, I'm not sure if I'll be back. read more

This place is my FAVORITE self care place. I've been coming for the past 3 years for the combination massage. Yes i do have my favorites but eveyone here does an amazing job. I've referred many friends and family and they all have said positive things about Arkai. I want to add that I've been to other "luxury" massage locations and spas but the massages at Arkai are too teir. I love this place!! read more

This is my local spot, and it is always so accommodating! It is the best-kept secret in the area, and the new owner is delightful. The ladies always check in on you during the massage to ensure the pressure is okay and that you are comfortable. I love this place and try to come twice a month. I love this place! Clean facility and such a great price! $15 off any massage! What a deal! Mona is a true healer! A friend recommended me to Mona at arkai massage and its conveniently located close to me. One of the owners of this place owns another location on venice , Tranquility spa where my friend always go . I got the thai massage for an hour and was totally relived from my shoulder pain that was killing me for weeks. Shes a magician, she found knots in my back that i didn't even know existed. She worked each area with such care and attention. I will definitely be back! read more

In the Before Times, I was someone who would get a massage every two weeks. But for my first massage back, I decided to try somewhere new, given all of the dismal reviews I'd seen of my normal go-to spots over the past few months. Where should I begin? So many things to consider as to why I will be returning here. Was it the unheard of, amazing customer service when I walked in, who very clearly helped me understand their services and make a choice based on what I was looking for? Sure. Was it the insanely clean facilities, especially compared to other places that offer similar services at affordable prices? Yes. Was it the quiet atmosphere? Yes. What about within entering the room where I'd get my massage, to see rails on the ceiling for back walking? Yup. And finally, how about that service? Yes. The masseuse who worked with me had such a challenge, with someone who sits in a desk chair and works from home and keeps their stress in their shoulders. She was a great sport and did a fantastic job. Cannot wait to go back! read more
