I loved the 'live' plant wall and calming music in the waiting area. Dr. Neuman has incredible bedside manner and explained everything my visit would entail before proceeding. He answered all of my questions and my teeth feel great. He's one of the few dentists that didn't talk to me like a sales person as if my wisdom teeth were lost gold and I appreciated that. He wasn't trying to offer me unnecessary procedures and made feel completely comfortable. I'm looking forward to going back and already recommended his office to my Mom. He took his time and I knew he cared about my oral health! He's great! They take great precautions due to Covid. Wear a mask to your appointment. They checked my temperature. The office is equipped with the best technology a dentist can get their hands on these days and best of all, the staff is so friend, competent and they do not cut any corners. Here's an example. Ive wanted to get Invisiline for a couple years. My previous dentist was pushy and quoted me an insane number for my very mild case. Dr. Shahi at Tribeca Dental not only told me that we have to get my gums healthy first before we can consider Invisiline, she confirmed my case is very mild and suggested Invisiline Express which is significantly cheaper! Truly smile savers…read more   Like most of my family and many people that I know, I have avoided dentists for as long as I can remember. I only thought the dentist was for the wealthy and the popular. My life was way too hard and I was just too poor for putting money into anything other than a life and death situation.   No one in my family circle was able to explain in a lasting way the importance of dental care in terms of its nutritional benefits or its connection to body immunity and heart health. One day I walked by Smile Savers dental offices thinking about how many years it's been since I even had a teeth cleaning and decided to brave the embarrassing questions and judgemental office staff that had scared me off so many times in other dental offices before. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was wrong about this office being like the others. The staff was professional and more importantly non-judgmental about my story. Dr Cox and her staff moved with laser-like efficiency not missing a beat in explaining what they were doing and why.(which was no small feat considering how much work they had to do in my mouth.) Her assistants were like mind readers. (Shoutout to Kenny) For the 1st time in my life I was comfortable in a dental office! They are truly doing God's work and are worth every penny!

I knew I was in for a great experience even before my visit because the customer care over the phone booking the appointment was amazing! I even had to reschedule same day and I was met with kindness empathy and a swift reschedule with no question. Now the day of my visit I stepped into the office and felt like I was stepping into the home of friends! I was greeted with two gorgeous fashionable and incredibly professional administrators who welcomed with a warm smile and warm welcome. They took temp and encouraged hand washing and gloves. I was taken back almost instantly where I was thanked for coming in! The technicians were bubbly kind and made getting X-rays less stressful as we all know the discomfort of those on the gums. What made it even better was that they have a tv both in front of you and on the ceiling and you can pick your entertainment! This is a WOW because I hate the sound of the cleaning drill and being able to watch a home makeover show looking at sofas and throw pillows took the edge off. Now enter Dr. Igor this man loves what he does. He clearly values patient care and experience. He was not rushed he was dialed into speaking with me explaining everything with a tooth model and was focused on my appointment. I've had dentists where it feels like they are just rushing room to room no personal care. He talked me through what he was seeing and explained the best care options very carefully and in a way I could understand. After a great cleaning that was painless and home decor filled I headed out... Oh yes it gets better! Now I'm back at the front desk. I was having my upcoming services explained to me and after a bit of sticker shock (man dentistry is not cheap even with insurance) I was calmed and reassured and given several options. Then I was able to grab some great home care items including a electronic toothbrush and other supplies. The team at the front desk is so patient focused and clearly love people. The gentleman who helped me even asked for feedback so he can improve his service! I thought...can it get better?! I walked out feeling clean, valued and eager to return and that is never the case for the dentist! If you're looking for a great dentist office where you feel like family instead of a file and can get high tech top of the line care visit them just check it out. Why is this important? The two most important words in the English language are your name. I am the only one in the waiting room. Why is this important? Leaf does not overbook. I am taken on time, so punctually that I do not have time to check out either of the two large and modern lavatories. Later, Nadia, Stephanie or Victoria will take care of the insurance forms. If a cleaning is in order, Amy will remove those stains from coffee and tea and make my breath kissing sweet. I am escorted to the dental chair by Monica or Jasmine, who will be responsible for handing Dr. Eugene Goldman a probe, a burnisher, a scaler, a spoon excavator, and other tools. Monica asks what TV channel I would like while the procedure is on. I am a tax-and-spend liberal so request CNN or MSNBC. If the former president is lying, I cup my ears and examine my x-ray. I forego the anesthetic because for some reason Dr. Goldman is able to drill without causing pain--at least to me. You may be different. If he opines that I need a root canal, he will refer me to an endodontist. If an implant, off to the periodontist. I have had experiences with both. In my next life I will take better care. I am done! A day of excitement passes but, ironically and thankfully, the procedure is without drama. Dr. Goldman makes me smile, which is what dentists nowadays are pledged to enhance, because in America, every day is a smiling day. I make him laugh. Why is that important? Let's just say that I left my previous DDS because he didn't. Leaf Dental is located in Dumbo, Brooklyn's historic 'hood, the land of eternal youth.
