Firstly before you ever get a lawyer, you should confirm if they are eligible to practice and if…read morethey have disciplinary actions to their name. The site to visit is below https://www.azbar.org/for-legal-professionals/practice-tools-management/member-directory/ When I reached out to Mark, he strongly persuaded me to file for an eviction, emphasizing how important it was for me to recover my lost wages. However, what he failed to disclose--which I found to be very deceitful--was that his services do not include recovering those lost payments which to me defeats the purpose if you don't know where the tenant resides. I even asked him if he could mediate the situation of get the tenant to the table and he strongly advise i pursue a judgement... because that's how he gets paid. I would have paid to mediate... I just wanted representation. To be clear, tenant was communicative by email but we had no address of the tenant. I not once did the lawyer serve any of the paperwork via email. Although I'm not entirely comfortable discussing my eviction experience, I remain unconvinced that I even needed to go through the process. My tenant had already abandoned the unit without surrendering the keys, making the situation unclear. knowing what i know how now, I am legally obligated to still communicate how i am going to handle the security deposit. But I am really suffering a huge financial loss that Mark stated was a lot of money... clearly money i may new recover. Unfortunately, Mark's approach left much to be desired. He does not thoroughly review discovery documents or commit the details of your renter's story to memory as he kept asking me questions about situation there were already in the material I sent him. On several occasions, the so-called "professional documents" he prepared--such as affidavits and notices--contained significant errors, including repeated misspellings of the tenant's address on multiple occasions. While Mark may come across as a nice guy on the phone, I cannot recommend his services. I had to constantly follow up with him to ensure tasks were completed, which eroded my trust in his capabilities. I also found his communication style manipulative--he knows how to carefully phrase things to influence your perception while avoiding accountability. This made me lose respect for him. I'm sharing my experience to help others make informed decisions. I would advise caution if you're considering his services.

I scheduled a consultation with Mark Tucker at the cost of $250. After just 5 minutes of skimming…read morethrough ample documents I submitted to him, he told me I did not have a case. Then he played a snippet of Indiana Jones. I was already traumatized when I arrived at his office. I was barely able to drive home afterwards. He was condescending, bigoted and antipathetic towards me. There was something he could do, but chose not. Another attorney did help me. I should have not been charged for this consultation.

I would like to sincerely thank Degnan Horne, and in particular David Degnan and Brandon Texido, my…read moreattorney, for their outstanding legal representation during one of the most difficult and complex periods of my life. My case involved a highly stressful and time-sensitive landlord-tenant dispute, including retaliation issues, procedural pressure, and significant personal and financial risk. My first point of contact with the firm was David Degnan, who spoke with me by phone on a Monday morning and agreed to meet with me in person later that same afternoon. With a court hearing scheduled later that same week, his willingness to make time in his schedule to listen carefully to my situation, provide thoughtful initial guidance, and accept my legal matter before assigning my case to Brandon was critical. I am deeply grateful for the diligence, respect, and steady guidance I received. Brandon's work made a meaningful difference in both the outcome of my case and my ability to endure an extremely challenging season with clarity and confidence. His judgment and foresight--particularly in establishing an early and constructive framework for resolution--were instrumental in bringing the matter to a fair and balanced conclusion. When an early procedural ruling created a significant challenge in the case, Brandon responded quickly and strategically, and his persistence ultimately helped strengthen our position and move the matter toward resolution. I genuinely felt that the final outcome reflected an appropriate allocation of risk and responsibility, and that I received a just result under the circumstances. Throughout the representation, Brandon was also consistently mindful of the financial impact of each step and worked to resolve the matter efficiently and responsibly. He helped me carefully weigh resolution options against the uncertainty and risk of litigation, and provided clear, practical guidance so I could make informed decisions at each stage of the case. Throughout the process, I experienced the firm as a true team. Everyone involved worked collaboratively and communicated effectively, creating a seamless and well-coordinated approach to my case--so much so that I consistently felt fully supported and prioritized. Degnan Horne proved to be a firm that is well organized, responsive, and highly competent. Communication was consistent and professional, and I never felt overlooked or dismissed. The firm's structure and internal coordination gave me confidence that my case was being handled thoroughly and responsibly. It gives me great confidence and genuine pleasure to recommend Degnan Horne, and both David Degnan and Brandon Texido, to anyone seeking skilled, ethical, and truly dependable legal representation. Sincerely, Theresa Mattox
