I don't believe you can rent boats or jet skis, but if you have your own, take them! There are a couple boat launches and slips you can rent, or else lot of boats were tied to the "beach". Our friends have a fishing boat so we took it out on the river and back into a couple lakes that weren't heavily trafficked by the jet skiers or wakeboarders scaring off all the fish. Caught a few fish, only one being big enough to keep and eat (a delicious bass!) There's a store that seems to have plenty of supplies of you've forgotten anything. The pool is an ok size. There's a game room with ping pong tables and maybe something else but I can't remember. I'm not sure of it was still hidden shores property, but there are lots of trails out in the desert for ATV action. I chose this school for the commitment to stressing respect in school and home. Sensei Larios also stressed that karate was a defensive art and should never be used for an aggressive act. After a few years of watching my children learn, I joined as a way to stay fit. I was impressed with the knowledge and skill GM Larios possessed. At first, I did not believe in pressure points for self defense. I quickly learned it is one of the most effective forms of self defense ending a fight in seconds. it is perfect for smaller people, I have been with the school for over 13 years now and have traveled to seminars and camps around the US and Mexico observing and participating in self defense and pressure points. I have seen many experts from around the world and have to say GM Larios is among the top 3. He is one of the few who can use the techniques for street instead of just for show. He travels extensively in Mexico and South America teaching
