This Is actually a really fun store. I bought a pair of white tasseled cowboy boots (loosely termed) from here. I actually came in here to look for cowboy boots, but nothing really appeal to me. I ended up finding these white tasseled short boots and loving them. I had to buy them. I went to a western cowboy all white party event. These boots would go perfectly with the white sequin dress that I bought for it. These are the cutest "cowboy" boots I've ever bought. read more

Had my first visit to this store yesterday. Kelly Cottone was running the place and helped me find everything I needed for a traditional wedding event in Mexico - Boots, Hat, Shirt, Belt, Jeans and a Bolo Tie. She was incredibly knowledgeable and considering her family history with the business, it was no wonder! I highly recommend this shop for all your boots and western wear. I'm not the biggest fan of the owner, but she does know what she's talking about, but sometimes i do feel pressured into a different choice when i knew what i came in for. Prices are competitive, but don't buy anything if you're unsure, returns not as gracious. Better than rochester location for sure, not as great as other local shops. read more

I have been to this store several times. The owner seems a little pushy but in general , very nice. However , buyers beware . The return policy with this store is very sketchy . Be sure you know the policy because it really stinks, and she will fight tooth and Nail not to return your money . I was looking for the "Perfect" gift! That's what I mentioned to Kelly when I walked into her store. My Niece is 14 and has been an avid rider for a few years now. She LOVES horses! What I had in mind this Winter, (Christmas) was a wool pullover Hat and a soft Scarf, with a Horse motif. Kelly showed me exactly what I had in mind with a cpl options. Along the way stocking stuffers like, Horse shaped Chocolate Peanut Butter Biscuits a Sticker w Equestrian saying and a nice All American Cowgirl card to round things out. Love them. Have a wide arrangement of tack for your horse. If they don't have a size or something you are looking for...Kelly will order it for you. Staff is great as well. My mother would take me as a child shopping for all horsey needs. A marvelous Birmingham store. read more

I went to the Arizona Saddlery in Rochester and regretted that choice. The Birmingham location had a much better selection of choices for my daughter. There were multiple options of sizes and boots in each size. The owner was great helping us make sure we got the right fit for my daughter. read more

This place as the BEST selection of boots and western wear and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I must have tried on about 50 pairs before deciding on 2 (ok I only NEEDED 1 pair but you know how that goes). I brought my daughter in for a new pair of riding boots and a new riding helmet and I couldn't be happier with the service and the products we received! When she first started riding, we made our purchases online, and I wish so much we had come here initially. I thought paddock boots and half-chaps were just uncomfortable by nature, but Kelly fitted my daughter perfectly and she was able to ride that day without even having to break-in the boots! She also educated us on proper helmet fit (she had been wearing the wrong size), and gave us many other helpful tips! I'm not a cowboy or a horse rider. I went into this store looking for cowboy boots for a Halloween costume. I didn't end up buying any because the price was a little out of my range for a costume. But the service and selection was incredible. The guy who helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful. He told me how they were supposed to fit and feel, even took a couple pictures for me with my phone to send to my girlfriend to get her opinion. The boots I tried on were really sharp looking and felt great. I may very well go back at some point and pick them up as everyday boots where the cost would be justified. Only wish they had a website with a list of their goods and prices for browsing before heading out that way. read more

Very pleased with this store. My daughter started horseback riding lessons last Sept. We came here to get her some supplies. We came out just for a pair of breeches and the girls here were so nice and helpful we ended up leaving with much more, LOL. We got some riding gloves, a couple shirts, the breeches and a pair of short boots. The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. A pleasure to work with. I was so pleased I went back a couple weeks later and bought myself a pair of Boa cowboy boots that I just love and I'm ready to go back and get a hat next. This will be the place to shop for all my daughters riding needs. read more
