My kids were able to take 3 classes (that's a whole week of classes) to try it out before we owed our first payment. He has more competition medals than anyone else I know of, in the history of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I started training here back in high school, after seeing an ad in the phone book. I tried my first class and realized immediately, that this place was the real deal. Everyone was tough, but also very friendly and helpful. It is always nice to feel welcome. Everyone I met did just that, they made me feel at home in a place where I had never been. They also showed me how effective Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu could be after even a short amount of time. So, I signed up right after class that day. I could tell right away, that what they were teaching really worked (even on the most unwilling opponents). If you want to learn real Jiu-Jitsu, then this is the place. Megaton's is the first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in Arizona and the only one here ran by a Coral Belt. He and my son had quite the conversation going over what was expected from my son during class, what my son can expect to learn while taking karate. My son really enjoyed talking to Bob (I believe that was his name). Class started right on time and my son had a great time. After class, he came up to me and told me how much fun he had. Which is important to any parent! There were 3 instructors on the floor the day we went with around 12 students. With 3 instructors, I am sure the class could accomodate more students~ it was nice that the day we were there, it was not too crowded. I'm not sure who Shantel spoke to but Bob was not pushy at all. He simply handed me the class schedule and asked me to contact him if I was interested in having my son take karate. Overall, a very good experience!

I just discovered the "review" from a Michael G., which was written on 4/4/2022, five years after I retired, and 10 years after I sold the school. I have no idea who Michael G. is, or why he chose to slander me with lies. When I was teaching, I always emphasized the importance of honesty and integrity. I'm reasonably certain he was never a student when I was teaching. In any case, the school had gone out of business months before he wrote this "review". I sincerely hope he recovers from whatever trauma has caused him to express such hate.

The Gym that I came from (EOS) is super crowded and there are 2 types of people there,..(1) a person who sits in a machine for an hr scrolling on their phone with their headphones on (2) 2-3 people laughing and giggling about what happened last night in a machine also for an hr. In both situations,..there is no recourse b/c all the other machines have someone sitting in it doing that same thing for an hr. I'm an older dude and I just get in and get out. There is plenty of equipment. Serious bodybuilders and fit people workout here,..no machine hogs on their phones. I recommend this Gym.
