I was so nervous when my husband booked this trip for our 2 kids (14yo & 18yo) & my husband and I, to be honest! However, we couldn't have felt more comfortable with Taylor as our balloonist! Taylor is so easy to work with. We bought Groupons for this ride in 2021 but the weather did not cooperate for the week that our guests were in town. We tried a couple other times over a couple of years but still the weather did not cooperate. Fast forward to March 2024. Friends were back in town and the weather finally cooperated! Definitely an amazing experience! Taylor and his crew were super nice and quick. We were the first hot air ballon in the air and saw the sunrise! Taylor was funny and knowledgeable. He's been flying air ballon rides for 21 years so that was comforting. At first I was super nervous but half way into the ride I was more relaxed. The ride was a lot smoother then I thought it wasn't rocky at all. Even the landing was smooth for the most part. First off Taylor let us reschedule because we had the meet up time wrong the first weekend we tried to go. So we rescheduled for the following week and I am very happy we were able to reschedule and get in so last minute. Taylor the owner and pilot had knowledge on the surroundings, personality (great sense of humor), and professionalism. I was nervous as first but he made us feel comfortable and safe by making us knowledgeable. His entire team was great as well and were professional and quick! Overall I would recommend Arizona Balloons to friends and family! My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time, and especially enjoyed the champagne toast at the end! *I want to add. there was a young teenage boy who did not bring a jacket and was noticeably cold. As far as hot air balloons go, I was more impressed before the ride but as far as companies go, this is a solid one. They were very friendly and were up in the sky to catch most of the sunset. There was one company who got up there to see the stars and everything but they were on a private tour for 2. The day I went there were 14 people in the basket but it has compartments and I think only 4 to a comparment. The views from north Phoenix aren't bad. Would recommend you look for their Groupon! P.S. the landing was the most adrenaline inducing part of the ride! read more

Took my friend for her birthday. Very knowledgeable, over all an amazing experience. We took a van to our destination for sunrise, quick set up, and were in the air for about an hour and followed with a champagne toast. I highly recommend choosing this company for your hot air balloon ride. We had a great experience from start to finish. We went with a group of 12 others that we did not know. Taylor, the tour guide made us all feel comfortable even though we did not know each other. Taylor was professional, funny, and shared a wealth of knowledge about not only ballooning but flying and the land below. The sunset was to die for and the view of the entire area was breathtaking. I took a sunrise hot air balloon ride today as a gift to myself for my 30th birthday. It was absolutely phenomenal!! Take it from someone who has a serious fear of heights and is even anxious with flying... seriously, I had anxiety leading up to it but wanted to challenge myself and do something memorable for this milestone bday. I'm glad I didn't chicken out. The ride was not scary at all!! I was so anxious about it I watched several YouTube videos to know what to expect and also read reviews on each of the local companies. I chose Arizona balloons SOLELY because of the great reviews about Taylor. I loved his sense of humor just like the other reviewer's comments mentioned. His jokes made the ride that much more enjoyable and calming. He and his crew were very organized, skilled and you can tell he loves what he does! I love that he provided information about the scenery from in front of us, behind us and down below and even told us about his history as the balloonist. champagne toast at the end was great, too.
