After learning our PPP application had over 250,000 applications ahead of ours at our big bank and that after two weeks it hadn't even been reviewed, we were crushed. We had always banked with a smaller bank until moving to Arizona last year, and didn't realize what we had given up. I emailed Amber after she reached out to small business owners proactively--on a Saturday--through Local First Arizona's FaceBook group to let small business owners know they were here to help. And she meant it! I submitted our files on a Sunday, and within an hour heard from another officer at this bank, Tim Castro, to set up the application. Amber followed up within minutes of me submitting the forms and assured us they were working on it. THIS. This is what American small businesses are about. Scrappy, hard-working, good people busting their butts and looking out for one another. The same evening the second round of loans came through, we learned we were among 140 businesses the Prestamos team had successfully gotten approved through the SBA that day. Blown. Away. They were equally responsive all the way through the process of getting the loan funded. Amber, Tim, their entire team were just amazing. If you want a banker who works hard for you and your small business, here are people you can count on.

There also have so many resources for parent's and their children. For the less fortunate family's, they often have free food and milk near the door for them to grab on their way out. Often, a dentists will come by in a mobile dentist office for the kids. The staff is very friendly and helpful with a low kid to staff ratio which really helps all the kids get the attention they need. Each room that the children are assigned to has a great deal of stimulation for the children. Almost every day something new is added for the children's senses. There just is so much for them to do and enjoy. The only negative thing that I can say about the Crisis Nursery is that, often it is difficult to find a place to park when picking up and dropping of my kid. Other then that, I can't think of anything.
