I was literally wooed to Credit du Nord many years ago while working for a production company that had an account with them. I had them on the phone almost weekly to deal with annoying wire transfers, faxes and confirmations. They were always super sweet and professional. My contact there offered to set me up with an account. I already had one at LCL but wasn't happy with them so I accepted. The experience was night and day. My new banker really took the time to understand my situation, which as a freelancer was not always the most stable, offering great rates and helping with last minute freak outs to transfer money from one account to another. My original banker there left a few years ago and it was tearful saying goodbye to someone who was so supportive and available to me throughout the years. My new adviser is really great too and is always available when I need her. Can't recommend this branch of Crédit du Nord more!

He speaks English if that is your only language. Plus, his exchange rates are very fair. This location is very easy to find. They are about two blocks away from the train and/or Metro station. They are easy to find as they are right across the street from the Holiday Inn. They have a large exchange sign on the front of the building. You simply walk inside and tell the owner how much money you would like to exchange. You pass it under the glass, and that is that. They give you your Euros. Very easy. One of the interesting things I find about Paris is that there is not a lot of places to exchange currency in the city. As mentioned, this is the only place to easily exchange currency in this part of the city. This leaves these exchange businesses with an advantage, as they do not have a lot of competition. This business owner does not take advantage of the situation, however. You will find very competitive exchange rates at this business. Overall, easy place to exchange money.
