Turns out, the problem wasn't me--it was poor prep and product quality at the other place. Cheyenne is incredible. She helped me transition from growing out my nails with Gel-X to a hard gel overlay, and her prep work is immaculate. She takes her time with a thorough dry manicure before doing any enhancements, which makes a huge difference. I've been getting my nails done since I was 16 (I'm 42 now), and Cheyenne is the best tech I've ever had. Her French work is flawless, and on top of being insanely talented, she's also a genuinely lovely person. The salon itself has a great vibe--fun music, good shows playing, and a super positive, friendly team.
