Dr. Eckhardt is amazing. He is meticulous and kind and honest. He did an extraordinary job on my first surgery and 10 years later I went back in to get a "new pair", despite me thinking I needed to have it done again, he was truthful and honest about thinking they looked Great. If he was like some of the other surgeons I have been in contact with, all he would care about would be money and not the best outcome for the patient. I don't believe any of the bad reviews as I had the best pair of breast done by Dr Aric J Eckhardt. They feel real and not like hard plastic you can barely see the scar underneath. He takes great care of his patients and will not let you do anything that is not right for you. I wanted bigger breast and he advice against it due to my age and body type. They are a nice size AA. It's been past 10 years and they still look good with no complications. I also had the bags under my eyes removed you can barely see the scar and it's only been 4 weeks. I trust him with my life. He is the best plastic surgeon ever in the Quad Cities. I have seen terrible results from the best plastic surgeons in LA with high prices. I would never let them touch me. Dr Eric Eckhardt is not only the best but his prices are reasonable. So, please disregard those lies about him because I know they are not true. I am living proof he is the greatest. I hired aric (with an A) to do a breast augmentation....i almost died , and the surgery had to be completely redone Had I checked on Aric's reputation, I never would have hired this man. He has bad Karma......everything from bad business to bad surgeries...... One thing I would warn you of, is that he suggests that the nipple is the best place to insert the implants.....this is false....i girl may not be able to nurse a baby later.....and...... a scar.....IS A SCAR.....and what if it has to be redone......cut in thru the nipple....again? I had a consultation there with him a few yrs ago & even though he couldn't do the surgery because first I needed to get my skin cleared up from the damage of steroids they caused me in the past I understood that & totally got it, but what I couldn't understand was why he charged me for the consultation when all the other plastic surgeons didn't? That's what I didn't get. The receptionist told me he has to charge for his time. Well the other surgeons took their time for my consultation & told their receptionists not to charge me or they'd tell me to my face that I wouldn't be charged. He's the only one who charged me. Money hungry I guess. Btw, I looked at his before & after pictures of surgeries he did on his patients & I didn't think they were that great. Some were not that noticeable & others had very noticeable scars on them like the ones who had tummy tucks & liposuctions done. Please check out other plastic surgeons first before you decide to go to him. Unless you want to have noticeable scars on you. read more

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Eckhardt and his office staff. He performed a breast reduction and did a beautiful job. I stayed in the hospital over night and went back to my desk job the next day. Scarring is minimal and while the full healing time is one-year, the results were immediate.
