Literally denying me medical when I've been laced with more than one insecticide to obtain access to the controlled B1 substance that my cardiologist thought was best for me. So every time I am in EKG at another hospital I have had issues with their addicts and their interference with counter indicatory medications and I've tried eight hospitals. I was just asking how to obtain my medical when mercy one is the one that attached the restraining orders to my medical records... It turned out that there were only a few reviews and that they had some complaints about pricing, but this just doesn't make any sense to me. The pricing and insurance policies, as far as I am aware, are very standard for a chiropractic office, and I have never paid less anywhere else... Additionally the quality of care here is so above and beyond that I would expect them to charge more. I just think that this place really deserves a five star ratings, and that a few people shouldn't stop anyone from coming here. Dr. Van Natta acted like he was a MD interviewing him about his complaints, even doing a hearing test on him. He was over excited about his weight and made him feel like crap when his ancient scale weighed my son more than on our digital scale. He even said to him, "When was the last time you weighed yourself?" He took some awful x-rays and between his partner and him they decided he could have a fracture of C1 or C2. I am a nurse, my instinct was that was nothing wrong with him. He had whiplash from the incident. Dr. Van Natta acted like if I didn't go to the ER that he would call the authorities....he never said that but he eluded to that when I wouldn't go to Trinity on 17th Street. He called the ER, he wanted me to call him on his personal cell number and he told the ER to call him when my son was seen. My gut feeling was not to go but I know he could of called DCFS and made trouble for us. We were sent with his xrays that the ER didn't take out of the package or even look at. My son endured a cervical collar, being transported on a gurney and then after the CAT scan...we are told....oh there is nothing wrong with him. If we had no insurance we would have paid $2688.25. With insurance we are paying $903.80 for being misdiagnosed. This is what is wrong with healthcare. He isn't sure because he can't take a decent xray, doesn't want to be sued so he sends us to the ER and we have to pay for his mistake. I really want to go to a lawyer about this. This man should not be practicing chiropractics....! I never want to see his face or hear his stupid voice again.

I had taken time off of work to come to the appointment that I had also waited 3 weeks for. When explaining this to the person at the counter, I was told that I could wait even longer and take a full day off for another appointment and they would maybe honor the appointment the next time. Disappointed at the lack of ownership for their mistake and disgusted at the customer service of the irresponsible receptionist who shrugged as if she could not care less. For a family practice, I found this level of disrespect to be extremely frustrating and would not recommend this place to anyone looking for medical treatment.

However they cannot refill an rx if the doctor is not in office. So you get to try one week, then try again the next. My daughter has an active prescription, hasn't missed an appointment, needs a refill, and they are refusing to fill it.
