Confusing billing and very rude phone calls I had a very frustrating experience with this body shop. My car was repaired here after an accident that was 100% the other driver's fault, and the repair was supposed to be handled through insurance (Progressive). When I picked up my car last year, I already paid the amount they asked for. However, months later they started calling me repeatedly, claiming I still owed additional money. The calls were frequent and the staff was very rude on the phone. The most confusing part is that their own documents show that the remaining balance should actually be paid by the insurance company, not by me. I even sent them the insurance company's explanation, but they kept insisting I should pay. I am attaching the documents they provided. The numbers clearly show the inconsistency. If you plan to repair your car here, be very careful with their billing and communication. My experience with their customer service and billing process was extremely disappointing. read more

Ariana handled the repair of my Lexus ISF. I was especially concerned about paintwork since my car had completely original paint. Fortunately Ariana was able to repair the fender without needing a repaint, which preserved my original paint. The bumper needed to be replaced but Ariana handled it well, and even had the ceramic coat redone. Resetting the airbag light was really difficult but Ariana kept at it, keeping me and the insurance company up to date. Wasted hours of my time. Failed to call me back after the initial call and I had to call back a week later. During that call I was told that for an estimate I would just need to stop by, they would provide an estimate, and I could leave. When I got there I was told that they aren't going to take my bumper off and put it back on without performing the repairs, and was told I would need a rental car because it would be there for who knows how long. The paint color and result was a spot-on match to my OEM Ice Grey Metallic color way, which I was a bit worried on whether there'll be a good transition. I consider myself a perfectionist when it comes to my vehicles. When I was hit by someone I didnt know who to trust with repairing my car. I researched many places and decided to give Ariana's the chance. I was not dissapointed at all. Ariana did a perfect job with getting my 370z repaired and matching the paint. They also worked hard on getting all the nismo small trim pieces correct as well on my Z. I want to personally thank Omar who helped me with everything on getting my car back to perfect condition. Its very rare to find someone who is both great at working with their customers while at the same time being extremly knowledgeable in their craft. Omar was very patient and understanding when I was stating my many concerns and wants with the repair. He understood want type of customer I was and adapted to what I needed quickly. TLDR - Awful communication, car ended up taking 4X the time originally quoted, I had to return the car twice because things weren't done correctly. I chose Ariana because of their reviews and because they were a manufacturer certified repair shop. Definitely a mistake. I was originally quoted 4 weeks for the repair and it ended up taking 4 months. The car was a week old when it was hit by someone who ran a red light. The car being brand new made it very easy to spot damage that had occurred while under their care. From the accident, there was both mechanical damage to the rear wheel and cosmetic damage to the quarter panel and bumper. After it was delivered, I assumed everything was going to the month schedule quoted. However, about 3 weeks in, my insurance emailed them and they said they hadn't gotten parts yet as they were back ordered. No communication with me that the timeline had been moved. This became a continual theme where they would promise to communicate and set a new date for completion and they would either only update the insurance company or the date would pass with no update (this happened 6 times). It also did seem like a day or two after I would talk to them about lack of progress, parts they needed would magically be on the way. It was very clear that my vehicle was not a high priority for them. Finally, when they said my car was ready, I came to pick it up to find that there were scratches down the side of the vehicle, a large chip of paint missing where the front bumper meets the hood, and the rear bumper didn't sit flush with the quarter panel. They promised to fix these issues. A few days later and they had fixed those issues and I drove it home only to find that the wheel that had been repaired was causing the car to shake at highway speeds. Turns out the mechanical shop hadn't rebalanced the tires. It had to go back again for that to be rectified. By about halfway through the process I bought another car and I am very happy I did. When I went to sell the repaired vehicle, it was clear a large amount of grime had gotten on to the light leather during its time with Ariana and I cleaned the whole car with leather cleaner because it was clearly pretty dirty (the car still had less than 200 miles on it when it was hit so it wasn't from prior use). Definitely would never use them again and would recommend you stay away. read more

Be aware while dealing this shop. They can be nice but their suggestions are sugar coated. They don't give suggestions on your interest but their own benefit. My car's quarter panel were damaged not that bad. Instead of fixing the original part with pulling and fillings they told me to replace the quarter panel because it quicker and result will look better. True. They also told me they wouldn't report the damage but what they didn't say is that the insurance company will see that fix type and mark your car as STRUCTURAL DAMAGE on the record because of quarter panel replace! They didn't mention it can be recorded into a totally more severe category at all or I wouldn't choose the replacement solution. They also out source some works to other shops. This is a long overdue review for Ariana Auto Body! I've had to bring my car in quite a few times in the past 6-7 months because I've unfortunately been rear ended three times in the span of half a year... Ridiculous, I know. After the first accident occurred, I was devastated as the damages were pretty bad (and it was the first accident I had ever been in at the time). I started doing extensive research on body shops in the Bay Area as I didn't trust the insurance-approved ones (my car is my baby.. I'm sure you know the feeling if you're reading this review). I spent more than a week looking up different shops, combing through reviews, and calling multiple places. I was specifically looking for shops that had a lot of experience with European cars (since I drive an Audi), would not use aftermarket parts, and would provide good customer service, of course. I finally narrowed it down to Ariana and another shop and decided to bring my car in for an estimate. As soon as I met Omar and Bill, they were friendly and understanding and helped walk me through the entire repair process after taking a look at my car. They explained everything - from the insurance aspect to the repair time frame to the actual damages. I had some requests in terms of the repair and they reassured me that everything would be taken care of. I appreciated that they prioritized the customer's requests over what the insurance company initially "wanted". The very first repair took a little longer than planned and Omar and Bill were very patient in dealing with my incessant inquiries regarding my car (granted it was the first time ever getting my car fixed, I was a little worried). They were even kind enough to explain all the details of the repair steps over the phone and whenever I stopped by the shop. They even had Ariana pay for the extra cost of the rental car since the repairs went a little over the initial estimated time frame. However, after seeing the finished repairs the first time around, the subsequent times I brought my car in I knew I could trust them 100% with the repairs. All in all, Ariana is definitely the place to bring your car! Every repair on my car was done flawlessly and the customer service they provide is exceptional, to say the least. I just picked up my car from paint repaired today, seems they did very nice job. Paperworks process was easy with them, they give details to insurance company also give me copies. However, took 19 days for this shop to work on my car & finally finished. I agreed with other review they lack of communication, after they took the order & paperwork process and I drop my car there, they have no news.., I have to keep calling them after 4 days then after 1 week passed to follow up, I thought they probably forgot of my car & me, if I didnt keep calling after 1-2 weeks probably my car will be done longer. The estimate of the car to be done also not on time, they said after 11am but then they called have to be after 1pm, people might have plans, they can't change the time on whatever suddenly, after 19 days working on a car. read more
