This review is for ACC as a whole my experience is at their Hayward California location but I want to warn EVERYONE what they do after you drop off your car to be fixed, and they refused to fix my backseat!!! Please see the picture because after they wrecked my car bringing out to me (this was a Geico claim) and had to fix the damage they created. I came back to see my car and I found all the parts taken off of my car places on my leather backseat. A car I purchased 6 months prior. ( he stated he is the owner) And I feel so offended and humiliated by him. I called in for service today as my Tesla car had a collision and need it repaired.I expressed my need which is my car is barely drivable due to steeling wheel issue from the collision and I was trying to find a way to eliminate the # of times to drive the car to the shop. We have shared the picture of the car including the alert from the Tesla showing the steering wheel issue which caused the damage. However, he stated he can't see why we can't drive the car from the picture and the estimates provided by insurance company. AND HE ASKED ME TO FIX THE STEELING WHEEL SOMEWHERE ELSE SO I CAN DRIVE THE CAR TO HIS SHOP TO FIX THE REST I don't understand his logic and when I trying to ask understand the process better. I am extremely delighted by the service offered by the shop especially Jesse who handled my car. I got into an accident back in late Jan '24 and through Geico, I went to ACC for body repair in Feb '24. Unfortunately, the shop lost a few repair men and was severely under staff. So I wasn't able to get my Subaru fixed within the time estimate. Jesse without hesitation offered a car rental for the next 4 months so I can go on with my daily commute. He was responsive and attentive to details and make sure the car is properly repaired. Yes, there were a few electrical and sensor issues after the car was returned but were quick to address them when I brought them up. I bought my Honda Civic USED a few years ago and the paint was always faded, but it became embarrassing to look at after the poor weather conditions. I knew it was time to get it fixed, so I searched quite a few places and a close friend recommended this location. I am from San Francisco, but I was willing to drive to Newark if it meant my car would be in good hands and at a very reasonable price. Andrew was the main POC and you can tell right away that he's an extremely thoughtful and detail-oriented person. His team had to work after hours to meet my deadline and I'm genuinely grateful for all their work! I've never seen my car in a solid black coat, so when I came to pick it up, I wanted to cry tears of joy. I'm typically not one to write a bad review but this place is very disorganized and unprofessional. My car was hit in May of 2022 it is now February of 2023 and I have yet to hear that they have received any parts. I have called multiple times and am always told that the girl handling my stuff is on lunch and they will leave a note to call me back. I also tried emailing and never received a response. My driver door does not work from the outside. For almost a year I have had to open it from the inside it's a hassle. I reached out to another shop and in 2 hours I received an estimate, approval from geico, and parts were ordered. 3 days later parts were in. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else. I would give this place 6 Stars out of 5 if I could! From beginning to end I received outstanding service from the ACC team of superheroes. Thank you Andrew, Lupe, Julia, and Deb! GO TO ACC FIRST! Then if you really want to waste time to get other estimates you would have already visited the best shop first. Getting the estimate: When I first arrived, I was greeted by Andrew and I asked for an estimate. I was rear ended in a hit and run by an SUV, and I had a high deductible. I asked Andrew if he could give me an estimate for pay out of pocket repair to get the trunk lid working and I didn't care about getting new parts or paint because it's a 14 year old corolla. Andrew took a thorough look and told me to take a seat while he put together an estimate. As I was seated, Andrew took the time to go back to the car and ask his technician for a second opinion. Then he provided me with his final estimate and warned me of the possiblity that it may go up based on what they would find behind the bumper. Drop off: ACC has really friendly staff. Even when sitting in my car waiting for them to open the doors for the day, I would nod good morning and they would nod back. When the doors were finally opened I was greeted by Julia who wrote down my preferences for updates, and provided my keys. By the afternoon I was told my car was ready. Unfortunately I couldn't get there by the time they would close and told them I would pick it up next day. Pick up: The total cost was true to the estimate. No new parts needed to be ordered. After signing some paperwork and paying I was told the car would be coming out soon. They offered to clean it up if I would wait a few more minutes. And let me tell you, I could not be happier when the car rolled out! ACC exceeded my expectations! The trunk worked AND the bumper had dent pulled out and light was put back in place! All of this was done by Lupe. On top of that, the car was washed and inside cleaned. This was done by Deb (only briefly saw the name tag). The competition: Every other place that I visited in-person for an estimate was a terrible experience because they didn't seem honest. One would provide an estimate verbally and walk away, one would just write down a number on the back of a business card, one would describe how it's been hot outside and all the damaged parts have froze in place so it can't be repaired and need to be replaced, one said this is considered a total loss, one added 13hrs of paint labor when I specifically said no paint, etc. Im paying out of pocket so I care where I put my money which is why I visited so many. Conclusion: Even with a 14 year old car, I felt like I received First Class treatment at ACC even with Teslas and other nice vehicles in the background! If you want auto body service with an honest, quality driven, and professional team that will listen to you, then you will not find a better body shop than ACC! It's the best! At first, I was a bit nervous to come to this shop because the last shop I went to was owned by a family friend (scared of getting jacked.. you know) but is all the way in San Mateo, so I took a chance and went with Geico's recommendation and am so glad I did. I brought my car here after it was vandalized pretty bad one night... someone took a crowbar to my baby, bashing my windows in and causing body damage to my lift gate and rear passenger door (both which had to be replaced). ACC had done an amazing job with the repairs. The cost of repairs was as reasonable as any $$$$ car repair would be but the communication and customer service was what really stood out about this place. Last shop I went to, I had to call repeatedly and get status updates to see when my car would be ready. This place sends you texts alerts on the progress of the repairs as well as follow up phone calls to YOU! I originally was supposed to get my car back after about 2 weeks but parts were on back order so the pick up date kept getting pushed back and pushed back... which was kind of annoying honestly BUT I know it's out of the shop's control what is on back order from the car manufacturer so I'm not gonna knock them for that. As a matter of fact, ACC compensated me for the delay by re-painting my bumper and spoiler (both were scratched by the vandalism but insurance wasn't going to cover it) and tinting my windows that were damaged in the vandalism as well, at no cost to me. They also kept my custom "Evil M" logo I had put on my car and put it on the replaced lift gate! Brownie points right there because I thought the logo was going to be a loss! I was dealing with Andrew and his customer service is amazing! The staff is super friendly and accommodating regarding picking up your car and dropping off the rentals as well. Quality of service was disappointing. The crew were very unprofessional. 1. Had to wait till they opened the office and at least allow to enter. I was told the appointment time at 7:30am. The office was not open and had to wait outside the building for over 30 minutes. 2. Took 2 days to change a windshield. Never updated on the status. When called put on hold for ever. Finally have to call insurance to get to know the status of repair. The ACC collision center should have informed me. 3. Finally got the car after many calls to insurance and insurance company talking to AVC collision center. When we got the car, it had red markings on all doors and trunk lid. We tried to wash it and those markings will not come off. Near by Ho da dealership informed ACC had used permanent markers and it will cost at least $300 to do the detailed cleaning. You could imagine how frustrated I would be to get the markings on a white colored car!!! read more

My BMW 328i was side-swiped by a Camry that ran out of control on the road one day. There were damages to my right car door, right quarter panel, tire, and alignment. Luckily, the driver that hit my car accepted full responsibility and was covered under Geico insurance. I heard from a close friend that Geico insurance has a local one stop shop where I can get inspections, repairs, and a car rental all in one place. So I decided to use the ACC Auto Collision Center to repair my car. I got to my appointment at 7:30am and was immediately greeted by the Geico representative. He inspected my car and went through the damages in detail. After the inspection, he introduced me to the shop manager and told me that the repair shop will also do a full inspection. After signing the required documents, I met with the Enterprise car representative, where he showed me the car rental and handed me the keys. They were super efficient and I was out of there at 7:45am! I was also pretty impressed with their customer service. While the car was being repaired, I received daily updates on the progress of my repair. I also received a phone call from them close to the completion date. Once I got my car back, I was completely amazed! It was like a new car and I could not tell the car had been in an accident. They repaired the rear bumper, rear lamps, quarter panel, door, pillars, roof, windshield and repainted the rear bumper. They even replaced it a new tire and reconditioned the wheels! They also did a car wash and vacuumed inside of the car. The only thing I found was that there was an extra small glob of paint on the left side of the bumper. I called the shop manager and with no hesitation, he told me to bring the car back to get it repainted.
