Simply the best! I reached out to YES career coaching…read morebecause I was feeling stuck and ready for a change in my work. My resume was OK, but I wanted to put my best foot forward. The team did a fantastic job on rewriting my resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile. I ended up applying to a handful of jobs and got an interview immediately. What ended up happening though is that during the resume rewriting process, I developed this newfound confidence in my work that I never had before and I was going to go after what I wanted to do. I started to network with people that I knew in my area at different companies and ended up with an opportunity that was a perfect fit for me. Since I was a referral, the management team was not too focused on my resume but I ended up getting the job! I am thrilled to start this next chapter of my career and I have to thank YES career coaching for guiding me to see the light I had inside of me so that I can show up and be the best version of myself. Highly recommend!!

My 30 min consultation with Katherine was really helpful! I learned formatting tips and ways to beef up my resume by adding a header, summary, and core competencies and creating sectional dividers. She recommended outcome-based bullet points that highlight the benefits and quantify the results rather than a laundry list of tasks. Katherine was friendly and thorough and even had enough time to quickly proofread my hubby's resume. It was really nice to get an extra set of eyes! While the $299 starter package seems a bit pricey, it's a good deal considering that you are equipped with the A team of an interviewer, drafter, and editor. They will rewrite your resume and can fine tune and belt out those bullet points. While my resume could use a few tweaks, the starter package is a great option if you're looking for a resume overhaul without doing all the guess work. I found the resume consultation surprisingly useful. Would highly recommend it and consider the packages!

Denise coached me through a career transition from Price Waterhouse Coopers in DC (associate in the…read moreFinancial Markets Group) to Horizon Media in LA (Brand Strategy on SoCal Honda, North Texas Honda, IFC, and Swirl). In our first phone call we spoke about what I was looking for in my career transition which was something more brand and marketing focused as I was currently in finance. When speaking with Denise throughout my career transition process I felt that she communicated very clearly. The skills she taught me are ones that I continue to use and will help me in my future career transitions. Denise built confidence in me which enabled me to reach for the stars and apply to careers that would challenge me and enable me to be more passionate, which was something I was currently missing at my company.

I was in the same group session as Jeff T and I'd have to disagree. That was my second group…read moresession so I had a basis of comparison. I'm a huge skeptic and even though I went in there with the idea in mind "this won't work for me", it actually did. I didn't hear anyone, except one guy, say they "didn't feel anything." The guy who complained was asking odd questions the whole time and taking notes. (Example of an odd question, "Can I drink coffee all day instead of water?" I'm sure that's exactly what Michael Phelps drinks all day when he's training, coffee.) When I left, my husband asked me how it went and I said fine, except I think there was a blogger or something there writing an article. Which is fine, except in a setting where you need to feel comfortable, he was a huge distraction. I think the weird note taker guy even asked her at one point could she do magic. Magic? Like, pull a rabbit out her pocket? Other than that it went well and I saw people at the end signing up for more sessions. I've recommended hypnosis (specifically Irit) to every single one of my friends since I've been. I even told one friend in Virginia Beach that it was worth the weekend trip. If it doesn't work for you, then it doesn't. I spent my money on it and I'm pleased with my results. Did I cluck like a chicken, no, but I have shed some pounds.

Just called and the woman was so beyond fucking rude. I have a disability and told her I couldn't…read moreread the website so I asked her what her specialties are and she couldn't answer. This to me is a red flag. I have gotten a lot of treatment at many different places and when someone tries to act like they can specialize in everything or just cater their answer to whatever it is you need that is so sketch. I said I had a disability and couldn't read the website then she said she would read it to me, but then didn't and changed the subject pressuring me to tell her what I am dealing with, mind you it is extremely complicated and I don't want to get into the details right this moment. Red flat #2. Anyway i asked her again what her specialties were and again told me I needed to tell her what my issue was. Then she said oh my god and hung up on me. I definitely do not want to be working with someone who doesn't take patients issues or needs seriously or who isn't patient and understanding. Ridiculous. If someone reading this has found a good and trustworthy / compassionate and patient hypnotist in the area please feel free to message me. Thanks

After working with Ryan, my GRE scores went up by over 8 points, which is a huge feat for someone with extreme test anxiety. Not only was Ryan an excellent communicator throughout the process, but I felt like he was fully on my team for making me improve my scores. Ryan created a completely tailored program built especially for me to tackle my weaknesses and give me the best study practices. We also managed to laugh and have some fun throughout a normally grueling process.. I could not recommend working with Ryan highly enough for any and al standardized test needs!

Going into the year, I had no idea whether to take the ACT or the SAT and he helped guide me in a path that lead me to the most success. I ended up primarily studying for the ACT and took the SAT a few times toward the end of the year, and he had great tricks and access to excellent study tools to help me and give me a lot of practice. The workbook that Marks Education has created is so helpful and full of all the information you need for the test. Incredibly well thought out! He also gave me actual ACT and SATs to give me practice so that when I walked into the test I knew what to expect. He also had awesome packets and review materials, as well as previous AP tests to help me prepare for the AP tests I took Ryan gave me confidence in an area that is hard to feel confident about. He always motivated me, and knew how to help me in areas that I was struggling in. Ryan was an amazing tutor, but he also went the extra mile to check in with me and keep up with the other things I had going on in my life. He was a part of my team junior year, and I am so thankful for all of his help.
