I've met a couple of really helpful staff (especially one of the ladies in fabric dept, late 20's ish, shoulder length curly hair) but mostly i've found them a bit uninterested, rather unhelpful and slightly abrupt. I don't go here very often, but when I do, the staff are always polite. It is located in the centre of the town, where there are bakeries, charity shops and a Poundland. Sometimes when I go into this Waitrose, I can manage to pick up a great bargain. Overall, Waitrose Hailsham is a great place to visit to get some essentials.

Tesco Express is a 4 minute walk away from my house. It has wonderful customer service and a wide…read morerange of food, de-icer etc. Not once have I ever had a problem with this little corner store. It is also a petrol station which we have used multiple times. For the store, 20 minutes free parking is provided for when you are shopping. They have a wide range of gluten-free products. I would recommend this to anyone as it has all the essentials and necessities. It is the nearest corner store to our home, and it provides a lot for the area. Some people who live up the road from me find the store very useful, as I see them walking down there a lot of the time. It provides disabled parking (which we have never had to use) and you can have a tyre air refill at the little machine in the far left corner. The staff are amazing and I would like to thank them for everything they do.
