I drove all the way from South Miami to come over here to buy Venezuelan food the door was closed and I asked the lady that was inside to open the door and she said no they was closed but it was only 6:40 p.m. and I told her that the business is supposed to close at 7:00 p.m. and she said that it was closed she seems like she doesn't care I told her that he didn't wanted to eat I just wanted to buy some products they already have made but she did not care and did not open even though the business is supposed to close at 7:00 p.m. I guess I have to look for another place to buy what I need read more

Two stars because the flavor of the food is good however, I went early Saturday morning and once during the week during the afternoon same order cachapa and it had a chewy texture almost like it was old and reheated. Very disappointed. read more

Wow!!!! Hands down this places has the best Arepas and empanadas I have ever tried in my life!!! It's a love kitchen so everything is made from scratch. The sauces are AMAZING! My fav is the avocado cream and the spicy salsa! The bakery has various types of pastries..amazing! The restaurant is nice and clean, there is room to sit for families and etc. Customer service is great! I'm so glad this is near because we'll will be coming back more than couple of times a week :D read more

The picada was old and dry, I'm 100% sure that it's a leftover order and they sent it to me because there's no way that the blood sausage and regular sausage can be dry and crispy like a tortilla chip. Look at the pictures so you can see for yourself, the mondongo sancocho was really good, they forgot the avocado that it listed as a part of it but it was actually very good indeed, the beef and chicken sancocho was not so good it looked like it was not done cooking yet. When I called and ask for a manager the lady said there was none available, when I shared my experience I got nothing but silence from her so I said that I was just letting them know of my existence and hung up. Seconds later she called me back to say that it's impossible that the food was like I said and that it was the delivery company's fault, if that was the case everything would've been cold and that was not the case. She didn't apologize for my bad experience or anything, really unpleasant and unprofessional employee.. The only reason I'm leaving this review it's because the owner has the right to know how they're running the business. read more

I called in at 5:22pm to place an order for pick up. I asked for a sancocho de gallina and a churrasco. The lady on the phone asked what sides I wanted so I asked her what sides she had and she replied with: don't you have a menu or a computer to look it up, I can't stop what I'm doing to tell you what we have on the menu. I said no I'm driving. So she put me on hold. Then she came back on the phone and told me the sides. I chose the sides. Then she asked me if I wanted anything else. I said yes a burger. She asked which one I asked her which she had. She then replied oh no I can't sit here and tell you everything we have on he menu. You should know what you went, I have a bunch of people here in line and calls waiting. She then said since you don't know what you want I'm not going to take your order go somewhere else and she hung up on me. So I decided to drive there. I arrived at 5:29pm I am attaching pics of the very busy venue. And the phone was not ringing off he hook either. When I walked in I said to the lady wow you are so busy. She said yeah I am if you don't like it you can go. I don't think this woman is the owner. I would hope an owner wouldn't talk like that to a patron. I'm disgusted by that lady's attitude. As a big Venezuelan food fan (I'm Colombian) I have to say Arepa One's food it's missing the real taste/flavor/love that their food it's recognized for. I ordered thru Uber and it was a fast delivery. I ordered the Cachapa with queso rayado and Arepa Carme Asada. I have to start by saying the cachapa was very small (compared to other and most Venezuelan restaurants) it, I'm used to having a big cachapa with a huge cheese chunk in it but I had to dig deep to find the cheese!!! (Not really but you know what I mean) The Arepa.. the taste was off. They used some type of seasoning for the meet which you don't usually find in a "Carme asada" I love to cook and a perfect Carme asada has Sea Salt and that's it.. also the Meat was not "asada" and the quality of the meat was horrible.... I would do again though to try the Reina Pepiada since that's my fav arepa of all and depending on the taste I will review this post. read more

BEST AREPA IVE EVER HAD! What you must know besides that this is literally the best arepa is that this place is truly an authentic Venezuelan restaurant. However for my taste (im not venezuelan so maybe that had an effect) everything else I've tasted was alright. I went for breakfast once and it was good but pricey for what it was. I do admit they give you a big portion. The lunch was also alright the rice and beans were great while the carne asada i got was a little too sweet with the sauce. Ive also had an arepa with chicharrónes and it was amazing but too much fat on the chicharrónes. I will definitely be going back but will most likely end up getting and arepa with rice an beans. The food is good and the prices are reasonable, but I believe the owner is the person who runs the business. I been here 4 times and definitely won't be back again. Today I went with my husband (after convincing him that he will like their food -venezuelan) and I asked him if they had anything cooked already from the menu and he said a few of the items. To make the story short my husband bought a bread filled with ham and left because of the time and then I waited a few minutes and asked him how long it would take to have the food ready, because my plan was to go pick up my daughter and go back and pick up the food and he started to complain about me in a high tone in front of other customers. I told him patiently that I was not complaining and begun to argue again ... so I took my food (paid already) and told him buenas tardes and left. Arepa One has extremely terrible service from the grown man (the owner) and a grown woman (I believe this is his wife). The other employees seem to be treated very wrongly and receive reprimands from the owners IN FRONT OF THE CUSTOMERS. This makes me feel very uncomfortable and my family, friends, and I will not be returning. read more

I have given this place a few chances, but it continues to disappoint me. The pandebono that they sell are not good, they're dry and hard. The empanadas are ok (not really) the envueltos always taste old. I really do wish I could get my money back. Last, the lady who serves the food has a horrible attitude making everything worse.
