Within a year, the transmission line began to leak at the radiator. I took it back to this new guy who was supposed to fix it, a water pump leak, and a palstic housing that was leaking and a few other things. We paid more than 800 to get these fixed. Got ti home and the transmission line is still leaking badly at the radiator. This transmission was destroyed in the first place by radiator fluid getting into it. He charges the fee and didn't fix the main problem. He is very rude and his estimates are super expensive. There is more negative interaction to this story but I am running out of space. Avoid S&S. He took care of me over a 4th or July weekend, complete transmission overhaul. Can't thank them enough. Story doesn't stop there. Fast forward 1 year and transmission quits working. Quick call to Dallas and he says send it in. After a teardown he says it overheated again. I can say he could have denied the warranty but instead he stood behind his word and his work. I expected a "new" transmission to last for years - 2 years later I am still paying for the poor job done here. Recently had a 500 dollar transmission repair bill for an axle leak that supposedly was fixed on trip #3 to this place. Would not recommend.
