When my daughter couldn't participate in the normal way for one production, they found another way for her to not only be included, but to feel valued. I love that they have an amazing homeschool program along with their after school classes. They also have private lessons and sewing classes! They make their own costumes and are great at teaching kids to sew through fun and professional projects. I'm grateful for the support they have given my daughter and am excited my second one is almost old enough to join in the fun!

They did an absolutely FANTASTIC job - performing with all their heart on a black-floored stage with the setting sun blaring at them in triple digit heat!! What a show!! They all danced and tumbled and even SANG!! They had lovely voices and performed contemporary tunes as well as some classics! I especially loved their Abba tribute! What a phenomenal show! The company also has a theater in town where they put on all sorts of plays and shows - and even major productions like Les Misérables and High School Musical! They also offer all kinds of dance lessons, singing and acting too. They even have aerial silks classes - which even my adult son has done a few times - he loves it as a good workout - he says it kicks his butt haha! Anytime I come to town to visit my son, I always try to catch anything this company is putting on - the owners are awesome people - they work hard and are so talented! However, the management is simply atrocious and unforgiving, especially considering this is for K-12 dancers who have other commitments. In November of 2012, I was accepted to go tour Washington, D.C. on scholarship with my United States Representative. Obviously, that's an incredible and once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Unfortunately, it meant that I was going to miss a Ward Christmas party performance. I told the management in October about my trip. Nothing was done about it and two weeks before the performance, they were scrambling to find someone to learn my position. Instead of cooperating with me, I was replaced on the High School team that I had tried out for and paid to be on by two Jr. High girls (the daughter of the costumer and her best friend) not only for the performance that I missed and the following concert (which I would have understood, because I missed the penultimate practice as well), but for the remainder of the year. It was absurd. Despite my complaints, the manager would do nothing. In addition to this, my brother joined a team for a semester in 2012. The coach decided to choreograph in a somersault... at 6'1", my brother's physique is not able to easily do somersaults. He was hurting himself just trying. The coach wouldn't change the choreography to accommodate his team, and the manager would only lecture my brother for not doing it. Eventually my brother was literally kicked off of the team because he wouldn't 'cooperate.' I would look elsewhere for ballroom dance lessons.

Those years covered many different maturity levels and the drama associated with teenage life added lots of opportunities to grow both socially and physically. The staff at DCB were always there to partner with us in parenting our kids through incredible dance seasons. DCB is a great place to learn and also coach your kids in their talents.

We always traveled with the group and had a great time. I have never come across a more genuine, caring and giving person. After reading some of the reviews I am broken hearted that people are posting these outright lies because I know Heidi and I feel that someone very ugly is behind this. Heidi and Brett are the most amazing people. If some of her former dancers are posting lies might I say to them don't forget what Heidi did for you!!!!

Everything about it was top-notch, and at such an affordable price! We were happy to make a donation to the "Hope Box" in the lobby afterwards, dedicated to supporting a young woman battling cancer. Every actor, including the supporting cast, did an excellent job with their singing, dancing and acting! The Cowardly Lion and Wicked Witch of the West actors sounded just like the originals from the 1939 movie! The sets were excellent and crew did a great job behind the scenes. I'm looking forward to attending future productions! Bravo!

My daughter needed to see a play for a school assignment, so we decided to check out The Addams…read moreFamily at the Hopebox Theater. We had never been here, and the theater is tiny, so our expectations weren't very high. Our main focus was just to get her school assignment finished, but we ended up getting absolutely blown away! On October 14th at 7:30pm we saw The Addams Family and it was the best $36 I've spent in a long time. The acting was fantastic and the energy was great! Everyone was in character 100% of the time (even before the play and during intermission). The stage and theater are small, but they made it work. We were so close to the stage and the actors that we felt like we were really there and not just watching a play from a distance. We were completely drawn in and forgot we were there for my daughter's assignment. They have bathrooms and a place to gets snacks and drinks during intermission. It was a long play, so a bathroom break, a leg stretch, and snacks were needed :) My daughter really wants to see another play here and so do I. Not only were they phenomenal, but they support a good cause. Their motto is "Bringing Hope to Families Battling Cancer through the Performing Arts." They are one big fundraiser for people battling cancer. Go support them! My daughter and I will definitely go again.

My kids have been coming here for several years for ballet. They have classes for kids starting at…read more3 years old. It's a great way for my kids to learn to follow instructors and practice dance. Every year they have a dance recital with all of the classes. It is several hours long which can be hard for young kids to sit through. But it is fun to see the kids show what they have learned and get comfortable in front of crowds. The Dance Academy shares a business with a preschool which two of my kids have attended. It has been a great way for the kids to prepare for kindergarten and meet new friends.

But just a few months later she auditioned this spring for the same Jr High Dance team and....She MADE THE TEAM!!! Oh How we will be FOREVER grateful to Davis Dance for taking a chance on her and putting her on this path that she has only dreamed of! Love this dance studio! They are so great with the kids and make them feel valued. My daughter…read morecame from a studio that was over crowded, didn't teach proper technique and would sometimes make her cry. Dance image studios has been there polar opposite of that experience! The teachers and owners are so invested in all of the kids and truly see to care. They laugh and joke with the kids and make it fun. Their competition teams are awesome, and they treat their recreational dance groups as if they have just as much value. Everyone there feels like they matter, and I haven't seen this at any other studio locally. They also do hop hop for boys, tumbling, and a special needs class that is completely free. I loved that they did that special needs class, and they do not boast that they do it - but when a mom of one of the special needs kids told me it was completely free for them, I was even more impressed. It speaks volumes of the kind of people they are. They even include them in the recital which I love! I HIGHLY recommend this studio. My daughter absolutely loves it and it's been a stress free and happy experience.

Utah has wide spread diverse entertainment. Although the cast was not paid, these actors were amazing! They could sing, dance and perform! They interacted at times with the audience while maintaining character. Although they are a small theater without a lot of funds for props and stage crew, what they did have was plenty as the performers stole the show. What a fun way to highlight the misogynistic princess world we grew up with. I hope this show returns. Bravo!

They are a pretty young production group but it doesn't show, there is clearly a lot of talent, experience and hard work put into each and every show they do. They have an extensive youth program and do exciting and fun shows for children in addition to the traditional community theater programs. It's important to support local theater companies, but it's also very worth it here.
