Upon checking the app i saw they had same day delivery and asked why this was not presented as an option and was told if i wanted to pay extra for an uber drop off i could and i would get a coupon for a future purchase. So essentially my order was not delivered in the condition in which one would expect and then Dynamite as a corporation refused to reship the item or to comp $10 for what i would have to spend on same day delivery. Absolutely ridiculous to not deliver on a current order but to expect a customer to continue supporting their business with a "coupon" for a future regular priced order. I spent $90 bucks for pants and asking for $10 to expedite an order is asking to much? Do better. For the increase we've seen over the years in price there should be employees empowered to correct wrong situations for customer retention and business reputation. People, shop with online companies that happily correct wrongs. Rather than companies like this that don't understand you should receive what u ordered in acceptable condition and if you dont then its not the customers problem. Also maybe shipping $90 pants in a crappy plastic bag is not the best move going forward?

I was content with my purchases during Boxing Day that was more weeks. Strawberry Shortcake t-shirt? Yes. Minnesota Vikings t-shirt? Yep. My first pair of cargo pants from this brand? So comfy. I looked at my inbox. I got suggestions from Torrid. One of them was a Grogu sweater that was heavily reduced in price. OMG! It was awesome and so me. I had to get it. I did something a bit different. As much as I love my go-to Torrid store at Vaughan Mills, I felt the need to expand my shopping horizons. I did a search and found this Torrid store at Square One. I go to Square One at least once a year. Why not drop by to check out this store and the mall? I visited this store last Saturday. It was in the late afternoon. The parking lot in front of Walmart and mall entrance 9 was packed. I managed to find a parking spot by the traffic lights and walked over. Torrid wasn't difficult to find. I walked through entrance 9, took a left, and it was on my left. I like Torrid. Everything I have purchased fits nicely on me. The fabric is soft and comfortable. I also like that sizes range between 10 and 30. It is a size-inclusive store. It's kind of like shopping at GAP. If you know what size you are at the store, chances are that everything in that size will fit you nicely. At Torrid, I choose to be a size 1. I could go down a size, but I like a more comfortable, relaxed fit. Staff here were friendly. One of them was exceptionally cheerful when she greeted me. The plain t-shirts were so soft to the touch. Frankly, everything that I touched felt nice. I was petting the cardigans. I was hugging a lightweight blazer. I was admiring how smooth the leggings were. I like the shoe selection here. It has shoes up to a women's size 13. I'm happy with a pair of sneakers that I bought from this store. They fit perfectly without breaking the bank. There is a clearance section in the back left of the store. I saw some cute items, but there wasn't anything that I had to have. Grogu was my must-get item. I headed to the counter and spoke to another female staffer. With orders that you do online and come pick up at the store, you're supposed to show your order number and present ID. I have never had to do the latter. At this store, the woman wanted my e-mail address and my phone number. Cool! She let me know that she'd fetch my item in the back. It took what felt like an eternity for her to find it. I stood there for at least five minutes. It allowed me to browse the accessories and more. I was happy when she returned with my order. She asked me if I wanted a bag. I declined, as my items were already in a bag. I thanked her for find my order and happily left the store. I love my Grogu sweater. It is lightweight and roomy. I can push the sleeves up without stretching the sweater arms. Grogu is also awesome on it. I also got two sets of rock star earrings. One is for my best friend. The other is for me. You get six pairs of earrings. I like the microphones, guitars, and zipper pull earrings. They are a throwback to getting my ears pierced and getting a bunch of cute earrings to wear. They are comfortable and cool, and are of good quality. I enjoyed my visit here. I'd return again when I do another pickup order down the road. I struggle to find jeans that fit.... But their jeggings are fabulous! I love the website too. Many items that aren't available in-store. Especially the licensed clothing. They have it ALL! Disney, Marvel, musicians/band, cartoons like Garfield, etc etc. Prices are in US dollars, and it's shipped from the USA, so shipping certainly isn't cheap. On the other hand, they don't charge tax of any kind for online orders to Canada, so you save 13%. Plus they often have great sales at the online store! My 2 complaints are: 1. We need all the licensed clothing, like in the US stores. And 2. They only sell wide width sized shoes and boots. Which makes ZERO sense. I bought a flower hair pins, an ear cuff, earrings, blue hair chalk, a pair of black tights with a cut out design at the bottom, pretty fuchsia nail polish and matching lip gloss, a sponge hair bun maker, a wide gray belt and thong slippers. I took a look around the store and saw ribbed tank tops for $1.50, bikini separates for $2.90, leggings for $2.50, lace bras for $3.10, beach bags for $3.70, trendy sneakers (high top and low) for under $4, and maxi dresses for $6.90. For the 10/$10 sale I saw fish net stockings, textured tights, wallets, underwear, socks, flip flops, belts, caps, scarves, costume jewelry, make up, sunglasses and hair accessories. This store is perfect if you have a young daughter who is into fashion but you are on a strict budget. You can find them trendy, cute items that won't break the bank. I'm planning to bring my friend's daughter here as a birthday gift and have her go on a 10/$10 shopping spree. Out of all the departments in this location my favorite has been their jewelry section I have been able to find some really gorgeous pieces at this store. I think the customer volume isn't that much so you can still find a few things that stay..in busier location they get picked right away. Overall I love the staff here they are very helpful and friendly.Even if the lines are backed up they are very good in clearing them up pretty quick. Maxx and then Winners, it's pretty obvious. The layout and products are basically the same! Winners offers high quality brands at an extremely discounted price in clothing, dish-ware, shoes, furniture, organic and unique food, beauty products, and home decoration. Now, I am not a brand junkie or anything, but I've personally found that name brand clothing (like Guess jeans, for example) just FIT better, last longer, and are just higher quality. So if I can get a $120 pair of Guess jeans for $15, not only will I, but I'll will be forced to restrain myself from jumping up and down in the store. Not everything is worth the price tag, but some (if not most) are, and it's absolutely worth a moment of your time to stop in and browse. The only other thing I have to add is that every Winners has mostly the same selection, but some have things the others do not. For example, this Winners is pretty good all around, but the Winners on Matheson Blvd has mens designer suits! Basically my policy is, if we're in a town and pass a Winners, assuming we have time, we almost always stop in for at least a browse. It's almost like high brow thrift shopping.
