Good selection of guns, ammo, and shooting supplies. Prices are reasonable plus you can order from GalleryofGuns and pick it up here. They have the best FFL fee ($10) if you are buying from gunbroker or another FFL out of state. The employees are friendly but always super busy with a large customer pool. read more

The only reason I gave 2 starts and not 1 is due to the variety of firearms and parts. I purchased a light for my Glock and I didn't do my due diligence making sure it fits. I told the employees what it was going on and they pointed at the specific one I bought. So of course I drive back from Anchorage to return it and they charge me a 15% restock fee... 15% to walk a packaged item 10 feet? The box and item had 0 signs of being opened. But that's fine I guess. I've purchased plenty of parts from here and always had success. But this time the customer service was horrible after I purchased my light to returning it. I won't be doing business with these people anymore unfortunately. EDC Alaska in Anchorage will be my spot to do business all firearms. Also, all their stuff is way marked up compared to big box stores and you can sleep well at night knowing you can make a return without a 15% "restock fee"... as an Alaskan, I'm embarrassed by the way these guys do business. read more

Arctic Ammo & Reloading Supplies LLC - Their attitude, customer service, prices, knowledge, and business operations. - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Wasilla, Alaska

This place sucks! the most UNFRIENDLY group of people. They left me on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up on me and then when I got to the store, literally nobody, I mean nobody, asked to help me and there were 4 employees just standing around. So incredibly rude & unfriendly. Beware! read more

I had shipped a gun to them from the lower 48 over a month ago from another gun shop. I went in to fill out another 4473 form for the transfer and was told I could pick it up after 5 days. Went back in after 5 days to pick up my rifle, then the guy said because I was under 21 I "could" be pushed out to 10 business days and that it would be better if I waited for the NICS check to go through! They definitely need to be more informed on the regulations, because there is no such law in Alaska that says under 21 can be held for 10 days. On top of that, any dude behind that counter has a nasty attitude and act like they hate their job. read more

Had a situation where I had no idea what I was doing and was pressed for time to get it done-If anyone can relate to that, then you will also appreciate how awesome it is when you find someone who will help you through that mess. Sterling at Arctic Ammo and Reloading was that guy! He went above and beyond what I would expect anyone to do. I honestly didn't think there were people like that anymore. He was just great. Helped me with everything that I was having to deal with and made my life a heck of a lot easier. Professional, courteous, cordial, timely, communicative, and also funny. I am incredibly pleased that I stopped into Arctic Ammo and met him. I do not live in the area, but I guarantee that when I am in town, I will stop by and say thank you and check out all the cool stuff that they have in their store. Sterling, once again, from my family and from myself, Thank you, You Are Awesome!! read more

The biggest and best reloading store in Alaska! Very helpful and knowledgeable! They are always busy, so you have to have a little patience :) read more

Wow! Very helpful and attentive staff. They had a surprisingly large selection for the times we live in. They had just what I was looking but the friendly service put them over the top. read more

If you're into reloading and already a subject matter expert I'm sure this place is great however, today was my third visit and each time I've been either ignored or treated like an idiot. I try to shop locally and it's troubling when I'm treated nicer or more professionally at a "big box" store. Well, as they say, three strikes and you're out. Check them out and be your own judge but for me, I am off to sportsman's, cabellas, or bass pro for my future purchases. read more

Great local store with good prices and selection. I would say that they carry a lot of stuff for shooters on a budget. Solid selection of surplus rifles and new pistols. The shop has expanded lately and carry plenty of ammo, spare parts and steel targets. The owner runs a solid shop and I prefer to check their first supporting locals rather than box stores read more

Good staff but they keep poor company. Its hard to tell who works there and who does not. Bunch of people behind and around the counter just hanging out. Some Fat neckbeard told me I was not welcome if I wear a mask and to take it off. Good powder selection Dillon dealer. Lots of product of various kinds. Glad to have a gun store close by. read more

I would give them a 5 star rating Gary read more

Great folks, excellent service and a good selection of products !!

I had my guns shipped here from the lower 48 because they are an FFL and we moved to Alaska and couldn't drive all our guns through Canada. The check-in paperwork took forever to complete by the girl doing it because she kept answering the phone and helping other customers. I guess she thought I had nothing better to do for over an hour!!! I'm sure they are a great shop...but their staff needs to more familiar with the paperwork and treat all customers like they are important. I PAID them a fee to do the paperwork...I would assume they would then treat me like a customer and not some inconvenience. I probably won't shop there based on my first impression of their service. read more

The owner is very helpful and knowledgeable, but he is only one guy and the rest of the staff aren't as great. But they have a great selection other stores don't so if you have to wait to get with him you have a lot to look at. read more

I dropped my rifle off on march 5th, called every month and they were always waiting on the part. Finally on October 19 I gave up and went to pick it up and take it else where. When I asked for my gun back the guy said the part just came in. Really convenient huh? I personally think they saw the airline stickers on my rifle case, and just held on to it hoping I was just visiting so they could steal my gun. They wouldn't even give me my rifle back until I paid for the part that just happened to come in that day. read more

Great team of knowledgeable, super-friendly, and helpful staff, with an abundance of useful accessories, and bulk ammo available in-stock -- An enlightening surprise, and positive experience. Dillon was outstanding, knowledgeable, and helpful when attempting to upgrade an AR10 I needed to be CQB, and range ready -- He made things happen for me with reliable, and reasonably priced suggestions. I couldn't be happier, and yes, I would definitely recommend locally owned and operated Arctic Ammo to friends, and family. They had everything I needed, and they made things happen for me -- A nice change of pace from the ordinary status quo dog and pony show that never seems to have anything in stock [Box Stores and Commercial Franchise Chains]. These folks definitely know how to accessorize ... it was a nice visit; and I plan to return in the future. Dillon does great work ... I could not be any happier right now! read more

Great prices and knowledgable staff. Bought a ruger lite from them cheaper than I could get anywhere else. They even had 22lr ammo! Will buy from them again. read more
