She called me sexist and a bigot for not taking her word as the gospel. When I went outside, she followed me, copied down the license plate of the truck I was driving and then screamed at me like she was being attacked. This is not the place to go if you know your stuff, because she will know more.... she should have her own seat on the view with the way she attacks people because they are men. This is not a good business and I will direct all of my friends and fellow combat veterans to steer clear of this place. Also, it's hilarious how she wears her pistol on her side like she's an old school cowboy. Just remember, her knowledge is far superior to anyone else and she refuses to fact check herself. We drove into Anchorage to pawn a few items and make some purchases , we've done business at Pawn…read moreShops for over 35 years ., That said upon this first ever visit to Spenard location of Cash America , we encountered 3 employees , 1 " Alex" who while displaying he was def not yet a seasoned manager at best still was kind and courteous resulting in us doing some business there ,,, during our visit though there were some questions we had and some concerns Alex had ,,, while we discussed those , a black woman wearing a covid mask made herself seen by opening her mouth and interupting our 1 on 1 conversation ,, to the point we all staopped talking and had to wait for the woman to walk away after she realized no one was going to acknowledge her --- while in the store this woman walked around the entire store talking shet and making all sorts of moaning , whining , burping ape noises you would expect from lower life forms ... this was counter productive and a screaming realization that if you hire zoo animals to represent your business you will see a majir decline in your customer base , in addition after " Hagatha" was rude to us , and while finishing our business there we saw another Black woman enter the store with an item to pawn --- the woman presented an electronics item and had no way to prove it actually functioned ( this is required to determin functionality and monetaery value) - while a few moments previously " Hagatha " the loud mouth had a ton of shet to spew at us regarding our proposed weapon pawn , she did a 180 and did not even require this new customer to even demonstrate her item had any dollar value . Long story short - we will never return to the location there on Spenard and will think far less of this company for employing zoo animals at the store therein ... it made us yearn for yesteryear when you only encountered this level of ignorance in Mountain View , and who wants to shop in Mountain View .. If it was our shop "she / it" would have never been hired .

This is the best auction house in Alaska, in my opinion. General descriptions are on point, bidding platform is excellent. Billing, item collection times, it all works smoothly. I have bought one item over the last few years that I feel was misrepresented, I should have inspected it closer, otherwise I feel this is a solid auction house. I will say that items generally get bid up over retail, so watch out and stick to your max bid.

It is magnificent and pulls you into the scene of a cascading stream through the lush fall forest foliage. It has been prominently displayed in my California Sierra ski lodge for at least 25 years. But I am moving to another country, and it wouldn't be practical to take it with me. I reached out to a number of Alaskan fine art galleries to see if they would consign the painting.
