Laredo Tacos in a 7-11 store in San Bernardino is excellent. I wish that the description would have scared me away. I got 1 fish sticks, 4 sprigs of cabbage in each. I requested spicy creama, no flavor. She begrudgingly scattered 1 teaspoon of cotica cheese across 3 tacos. There is no option to put your own sauce. The red she said was the spiciest. Pace is hotter. I couldn't get pico if I selected sauce. I did get a teaspoon of onion across 3 tacos and a teaspoon of cilantro. The whole thing was disgusting and I tossed it at the pumps. I could have gone to Chili's for a $10.99 meal or, Red Robin. For the same money or less Laredo is great quality great taste and I can sit inside and eat. Wonderful sauce. Wow, what a hidden gem! I only accidentally stumbled across this place very randomly while being…read morevery hungry, so I decided to quickly enter to see if they had any food. And they did! They basically had a hot food section, and this review is largely about the hot foods section of the store. The rest of the store is your pretty typical local small grocery store. Anyways, pretty much every burrito is $6, tax included (though please note it's cash only!) They didn't have lengua, my go-to, so I got a buche burrito instead. The burrito was pretty big! Especially for its size! It was my only meal for the day and it made me pretty full. So you definitely get your money's worth. The burrito had a decent kick to it from the salsa, which they directly put into the burrito. Extremely convenient by the way. I suppose if you want less or more, you can always ask them to put more/less. The tortilla was solid, wasn't too much, but it was enough to roll pretty up pretty much everything. Beans and rice were solid and they notably didn't put /too/ much in - the meat was pretty generously added in. I definitely had a lot of meat bites, actually. Very impressive! Also, if you want a bonanza of food to fist your stomach, they also have special deals that give out a truly ludicrous amount of food for a very low price. I almost considered getting one and grazing off of it for a week, but I decided not to because of my poor self-control. Anyways, I don't have that much else to say. Very good, very cheap burritos! Unbeatable on price, especially during this age of inflation!

The new Costco gas station in Highland is a very welcome addition, and honestly, it might be the…read moremost organized gas experience I've had in a while. I love how spacious the layout is, which makes it feel less like a traffic jam and more like a functional pit stop. The overhead visuals showing which pumps are open or in use are a small but brilliant touch. It takes a lot of the guesswork (and awkward pump stalking) out of the process. Now, the parking lot itself is a little wonky. The layout makes you do a bit of zigzagging to get where you need to go, but once you figure it out, the savings at the pump make the extra turns worth it. If you are already heading to Costco or just looking to shave a few cents off per gallon, this location makes it easy and mostly stress free.

I drive between Orange County and Palm Springs several times a year, and this place has been one of…read moremy stops for over twenty years now. I can't remember how many times the brand of gas changed, but I usually stop here for a beverage, and the last time, I decided to try their chicken and biscuits. The employees are generally friendly and efficient. Prices are what you expect for a Circle-K, but I love how they've kept their fountain drinks prices low. For food that mainly sits under a heat lamp, the chicken was decent, and I really liked the biscuits. Getting in and out from the highway is pretty easy, although it can get backed up a little. That's not the fault of this place; I blame it on the Dollar General that opened in the same lot. The area has gotten busier over the years, but it's still a go-to for me when needed.
