I always have a great experience at Redlands Shell. It's honestly my go-to spot because I can literally do everything in one stop. Wash my car, fill up on gas, use a clean restroom, and grab my snacks and drinks before heading out. The location is super convenient, right off the main road, and it's always clean and well-lit, which makes me feel safe stopping by anytime. The pumps work quickly, the car wash does a great job, and I've never had issues with payment or long waits. Bad customer service, Dirty and Every time I go to this Shell gas station in Redlands CA, they Never give my Rewards points this has happened to me 2 or 3 times every time they Abort the transaction then we try it again and they lie to me saying the discount is applied, the gas price doesn't change, and my Rewards points are Gone. this is the only gas station that dose this to me everywhere else I have gone and applied my Kroger/Ralph's Rewards have worked. Apparently the employees can be inside at 5am on their phones but for people who go to work at 5am , we can't go inside the store to grab anything... but don't worry the coffee is cold and ready but you have to wait till 6am till they wanna actually let people in or you can watch thru the window , employees pour them selfs coffee but you have to wait if you are a paying customer ... talk about a joke of a store . read more

After having an awesome Thanksgiving dinner with a previous coworker from Loma Linda, I headed back home late at night. I was very wired and full energy (thanks to the turkey, gormeh sabzi, and zereshk polo), but my car was lacking in fuel. So I stopped by here before heading back to LA. I'm guessing this is one of only a very few gas stations servicing Redlands. It is well lit, and stands right by the freeway entrance, so the convenience is a plus. The gas prices were alright, when compared to prices back home. The only thing I didn't like about this place is that the other three people here at the time looked like junkies. Surprising, as Redlands seems like a nice town, but I'm guessing they were just passing by. I got my gas and left. This station did its job well. read more

I purchased a car wash and waited just like everyone else. I entered my number and the machine took it and said pull forward. I entered the wash and nothing happened. I went to the office and the employee said there was nothing they could do and that I got the wash. With my dirty Blue VW Bug sitting with eye shot he said there was still nothing he could do. I would have to talk to the owner tomorrow. Went in the next day and they said there was nothing they could do!!! WTF???!!!??? Nothing they could do??? I know something i can do is let everyone know what kind of business they run and how they RIP OFF their customers. Watch out for this gas station if they rip off car washes they could go as far and rip you off on gas prices. Like short you on every gallon you think you are buying. I have been going To this gas station for many years on my way home from work. The blonde old lady working during the day is very rude. Recently I asked her several times to turn on the air after I had pumped gas and she never did. Her response was "I'm busy." All she has to do is turn on a switch that is at the touch of her fingers. Don't get gas here! I filled up my car this morning and heard the pump click off when it was finished but, realized the meter didn't stop running. It continued to overcharge me when gas wasn't still flowing from the pump. I printed my receipt and went in to inform the clerk inside. She seemed friendly at first and said she would mark the pump and have it checked but, once I asked her about the extra gas I payed for and didn't actually receive her attitude completely changed. She basically threw her hands up and asked what I expected her to do or compensate me. She was completely rude. All I could do was turn and walk out because this was going to be ugly. I told her she had lost my business and I would never be back. Sadly, I usually fill up there once per week and I'm now wondering if they've been ripping me off every time. Bottom line, they are ripping people off and I can't imagine this is the first time or that I am the first victim. They should be investigated. read more

The gas prices are alright, but the employees seem bored, inattentive, and if they forget to remove sales from their snacks, they will not honor the price. You're also lucky to get two words out of some of the cashiers. I don't enjoy this location, and the 76 directly across the way is usually the exact same price, with the added bonus of awesome cashiers. read more

This is seriously the cleanest station I have been too. The gas is always tied for the cheapest and sometimes is the cheapest, but at the same time Shell gas is awesome gas. I fill up all my cars from my VW to my Benz here. The car wash cleans my car spotless and takes only 5 min for 6-9 bucks depending on what kind. Awesome station. They also helped my grandma since she cant get out of her car, very kind people. read more

I went to get gas and had some winning scratchers from Christmas that I redeemed for two more. I dont buy these and don't know how to use them very well, and the attendant (old woman with short hair and a very nasty attitude) was completely unhelpful. I picked two more as I said, and requested her to just scan them because I don't know what they mean and I don't care to waste time scratching them. She refused, forcing me to scratch them and the one that looked like a winner I had scratched the code too hard with my keys because like I said I don't know what I'm doing and then it wouldn't s an on the self help machine. I asked her for help, she IGNORED me then I asked again and with the most rotten attitude pretended not to know what to do about it and told me I had to come back when she wasn't working. This is the WORST attendant I have ever experienced at s gas station, and I've been to some shitty gas stations. This woman should be fired because she's driving away Buisness. I only get my gas at this station, but now because of how RUDE that shitty woman was I will not come back ever again. F*** you very much lady. read more

The service at this place SUCKS! I went in for a smog check and my car failed by 1/1000 of a point. The mechanic, Harvey, told me to add Techron, which he happens to sell, and warm it up real good next time. I went to O'Reilly and the guy working there said I didn't need Techron, all I needed was to warm up the engine really well since my car is so old (1993 Honda). I went back to Shell the next day after getting the engine good and hot and it passed easily (without adding Techron). Harvey knew my car needed to be hot due to its age, but he didn't bother to tell me that before the first test, and STILL charged me AGAIN...over $100 for my smog check. RIDICULOUS! I even told him since he told me to warm it up and I did that, and it passed, that my retest should be free, but he was a jerk. I have lived here all my life (60 yrs) and will never even go there for gas anymore! read more

My car battery died at the station across the street. I walked over to Shell, and the mechanic there came with me to give me a charge, then replaced my battery in under 20 minutes. He could not have been nicer, same with the cashier. read more

tough break but deserves reporting, they have the 20c a gallon off program with ralphs, the machine confirmed i had put the ralphs info in and should anticipate the discount, then pumped away at full price. the clerk reviewed the transaction and stated: "i can see conclusively that you must not have entered the ralphs info, the only way to get the ralphs info for sure is to enter it with the cashier, and that she could tell that no one had used a ralphs club card at the pump all day", (at 1pm on a sunday). three consecutive horribly wrong answers. what this tells customers is that they have a broken pump and either dont care or are profiting from overcharging, that not just my transaction but all transactions that same date had committed the same overcharge, and that reporting it to the cashier would reveal they were just going to justify the overcharge with semantics. what they may want to know is this is letting them off easy, they could have their weights and measures permit suspended, be liable for large fines, and be targeted by news organizations that love these overcharge stories. i would fix it, and customers beware. read more

Purchased a tank of gas and a car wash. Tore my ticket off too soon. The clerk had a new one already for me as I entered the station. Did not even have to ask! This is one of the best self washes I know of. Brushes and shampoo do a very good job of cleaning. The blow drier should run a bit longer. You have to do a little supplemental wiping after the finish. All in All a great place to go for a quick self wash. Have used it dozens of times. Usually quite a wait especially on weekends. Used this car wash twice. Twice there were problems. When I called to offer suggestions on ways to improve this so other customers do not have the same experience, the "Manager" stated that there do hundreds of car washes a week so I am the one with a problem because I obviously do not know how to use a car wash.
