I called in my order and stopped to pick it up. There were quite a bit of people already in the store ordering food. I overheard one lady telling someone how great the food was and asking what they'd ordered. I ordered the chilaquiles but they forgot to ask me how I wanted my eggs cooked so after I told them I had to wait about 8 minutes for my food. I went with the red salsa and added carne asada with over easy eggs. The bowl was amazing! I will definitely stop back in here for some more great food!

Several times he's tried to charge me for wrong items and instead of fixing the mistake, he will double down and argue with me. I have never caused any issues for this man or the store. I come in every night after work for a beverage while he watches me like a hawk, yet every night the nasty attitude remains the same with me and other customers in the store. Very unfriendly, uncomfortable, and unprofessional in every aspect. The mistake is usually fixed but not after haggling with the clerk for the price I am supposed to actually be paying. Another complaint is the freshness of the ready to eat hot foods sold there as well. Usually items are left hours way past their expired time. But overall the store is clean and stocked well. Only issue is staff making the entire experience feel very unpleasant and leaves customers like me loathing the next visit when that clerk is there.

This was James Dean's last stop before he got into a fatal accident hence his huge cutout outside the gas station. Store was spacious with lots of different snack particularly nuts. The chile verde here is very tasty and has a good spicy kick to it, I wouldn't call it hot, but it is delicious! The portions are very generous too, you'll definitely feel full and satisfied after eating here. Their breakfast burritos are also delicious and filling. They are also a great taqueria for lunch and dinner, they have a great deal on their tacos every Tuesday as well. Their red salsa is my absolute favorite! The staff that works here is always friendly and welcoming. The kitchen is inside of a large gas station that has an epic amount of multicultural snacks from Mexico and Japan that are awesome! The staff always keeps the whole facility super clean. The owners are always keeping up with all the viral food trends too, if you see a new cool snack on Ticktock, chances are, Big Stop will have it.

This Arco/AMPM meets this criteria of easy access and clean restrooms. As a bonus the gas is on the cheaper side in Buttonwillow and the AMPM has every sort of drink or snack you could think of. If you are near Buttonwillow on the 5, need gas and have to use the restroom this is a safe stop. Warning: be cautious of entering if the person in front of you has been in the restroom for awhile.
