I…read moreneeded gas and usually I'd stop at the Costco gas station cause of the cheapest prices, but no way I wanna wait in long lines in the middle of the day. Fast on and off the 80 freeway is what I needed. Plus Chevron always has a nice little store, clean restrooms and mostly has what Costco gas lacks, windshield cleaning supplies and squeegees. Windshield is a mess after leaving it parked for almost a week while I went on field location work sites. Just pulled off at the 505 freeway exit and took the first exit instead of going on to the 505. You can see the Chevron station right there. Pulled in and used the credit card no prob. The card readers work perfect, none of this multiple tries like some of those cheaper off brand sketch stations. There's even a car wash here if you need that. Pop Eye's fried chicken is next door if fried chicken is what you need! Gas pump work perfect and no spilled gas. I got my windshield all cleaned, wow that makes a difference! OK, I'm outta here and back onto the 505 headed north. Prices aren't the cheapest, but worth it for the nicer station and full service store. Yeah, I got some Coke and Funyons for the road!

I often drive to Elk Grove/ Laguna West and sometimes stop here for gas. Usually its ok but this last visit was a little worse than normal - I think because I was in my CDI Mercedes diesel. They serve b20 here - and for those that don't know what that means - its a bio diesel blend that is 20% bio - that stuff is usually very very cheap - and the fuel here was $1 more expensive than a diesel #2 spot that was just 20 miles further down the road. Believe it or not I don't drive my CDI all that much... maybe 1000 or 2000 miles a year - I just have more interesting cars to drive. I love my CDI and it gets 45 miles per gallon and in style and comfort - but usually it just sits in the driveway. Because of that I really have concern for the type of fuel that sits for a year at a time - I as I can get nearly 1000 miles out of a tank - that means my fuel sits for a year before I refuel. Bio tends to grow slime and ruins the fuel system - I don't like that. I suppose the worst part is they charge top dollar for what I believe to be worse quality than diesel #2. Bio does have the benefit of great lubricity - so if you go through your tanks fast and use anti gel in the winter b20 should be fine. I prefer hot shots everyday additive and diesel #2 - trust me I did the research - you might want to look into it yourself.

Since this is also a AM PM, they have hot dogs in there. The only drawback is the unisex single washroom. The wait can take a while if there are a lot of people, as in my case today.

Their tone always poses as an inconvenience to them when asking about stock and availability. 4/5 times when I do visit this Costco and ask in person, I get nasty unwanted attitude. Napa, Fairfield and Vallejo are the complete opposite. They are almost always super friendly and never make me feel unwanted.

Good prices, convenient to the freeway and they sell diesel #2…read more Prices are fair - I got 91 this time with credit and it was $5.299 - seems reasonable for a 'better' gas station. Diesel #2 I prefer to biodiesel and liked that I saw it here. Pump areas were clean and a receipt printed at the pump. Disposable gloves were a nice touch - unusual but shows extra care. I paid about a dollar more per gallon than the cheapest stations where you pay cash. So 4 stars for value and overall experience.

I'm totally surprised when the code doesn't work, and thinking the keypad is malfunctioning I go inside the Food Mart and speak with the (short female) manager. She advised me the code expired at 12:01 am this morning. What?! Not 11:59 pm tonight?! Well I relented but her nonchalant attitude when I asked if I could make a suggestion that the expiration time be placed on the receipt is worse than the aforementioned. She was dismissive and claimed this was totally out of their control - adding some other company was responsible. She didn't even "know the name of her company's website." I don't typically go inside, and handle my business at the pump. So my previous review was based on those experiences.

The hubs started pumping, then went to the bathroom while I sat in the car. When he came back, it was at one gallon. I decided to go into the convenience store and grab some snacks. I walked around for a bit since I couldn't decide what I wanted. Ended up getting a bag of cheetos and two meat sticks for a little less that $10. When I came back out, the pump was at something like 5 gallons. I think it had been like 10 mins already. Maybe even 15 mins. If you are in a hurry, do not come here. Gas and a car wash. Simple, easy, clean, effective…read more I left a wintry Tahoe with white crud all over my vehicle, so I pulled into the Chevron just before 6pm on a Sunday. Walked in, paid cash for gas and a car wash, used the toilet (clean), exited to pump gas. Then I ran my car through the premium car wash. My car is now clean, tank on full, bladder empty. I'm a happy gal. Edit* I woke this morning, and in the light of day I could see that the car didn't get as clean as I initially thought it did. Even though I got the premier wash, there were still patches of the white crud on the rear of the vehicle.
