Always have a disappointing stop at this Arco. AMP M because the card readers on some pumps don't work and they don't print receipts, and they are vandalized. And need to be repaired.And also, the cashiers are not all that nice inside... The prices used to be way higher than I should be. For quite a while then I finally lowered them recently. This place. Yeesh. Every time I go the receipt printer doesn't work. I buy a car wash and then have to fight that lot to park and go inside to get my receipt for the car wash code. Tried twice. Not doing that again because this time I waited in line, got my receipt and as I was leaving the cashier yells sarcastically 'you're welcome'. Wtaf. You don't refill your recipe tape, I simply go in and state what happened, get my receipt and leave and I get attitude?!?! How about a 'sorry for the inconvenience?' Unbelievable. I honestly don't get this place. Arco is supposed to be the cheapest gas station because you can't use credit cards. Go to most Arcos and they're super cheap (check out the one on Clayton in Concord). But this one is the most expensive gas station in Pittsburg. The Shell station across the street is literally cheaper. What does that tell you? When the Shell across the street is cheaper, that's a pretty awful sign. Plus you cannot get gas here without the accosted by homeless. EVERY time you get the "I ran out of gas, can I have a dollar?" Ask them where their car is. They always say it's down the street. I always say "well, let's get a can of gas and go over there and I'll put the gas in." They will literally turn around and walk away. "Hey, I'm offering you free gas and a ride to your car, you don't want it?" They will literally be pulling the scam on another customer before finishing the sentence. There are some pretty scary characters hanging out in the area too. My wife will not get gas here because of them and I do not blame her. But the prices. This isn't an Arco. This is a Chevron without the ability to use credit cards. I will say I've used this place a couple times just for the car wash but gas - never again. read more

a-HA! A new discovery for me, as of roughly one month ago: ARCO has a station one block off the freeway in Bay Point. Now I know where to get gas when I'm in the area. I'm somewhat of an ARCO loyalist. They have good gas at better prices. And if there's an AM-PM attached, then I can also pick up my "health food" before getting back on the road. I have my favorites: Concord's Willow Pass, Hollywood's Highland Ave., Mill Valley at Highway 1's sharp turn. Add the Bay Point location to the list. This ARCO should be held up as the best example of an ARCO. Same prices as on Willow Pass. It's a new station in a new neighborhood, complete with car wash, so everything is so fresh. Easy access no matter which way you get to San Marco & Leland. It's on the good side of Highway 4, so no worries about your personal safety. I'm no regular, but if the car needs gas after dropping off my daughter at Calvary Temple, I come straight here. And if you're driving home from work, it's very convenient for you to come straight here to fill `er up. read more

By far one of the worst gas stations in Cali. The employees are rude and obnoxious. When you ask for something like cupholder or a top for coffee cup, they just say they don't have it without checking the back. The ladies that work here are rude and unprofessional. This Beautiful fairly new gas station is located right off of San Marco Road. This gas station gets very busy as it's located right off the freeway. They have a car wash and a Subway inside. The car wash prices are very very reasonable. A typical car wash is $20. You can get one here for less then $8. The prices at Arco beats most of the competition. Yes, the lines at times may be long. But, if you are expecting a great deal and trying to stretch your dollar, then a little patience is all one needs. I would frequent this location if I still lived in the area. Arco also has the best cheap coffee. Love it! Overall, this store has a gorgeous storefront, friendly staff and lower gas prices. read more

I love coming to this place a lot, especially with the people I get along with appearing once in a while and getting good deals, but the problem this place has is that anything that happens is out of the employees control and I have to deal with Karens and Kevins making a fuss as if they are able to do anything about it. I can tell you right now, this place has good prices for gas, great hot drinks as well as other stuff, but whenever customers argue about a broken pumps, giving them the wrong number, being asked to show I.D., that's when it becomes unwelcoming: The trouble causing customers start blaming everything on them and cause a scene. These guys try to do anything and everything within their power to try and get things running smoothly, but once the guys says 7 when he meant 13, or if a guy who buys beer argues that he's been there before as if they are supposed to remember everyone, it gets very hectic. My advice, still come here, but try to understand where these guys are coming from. They are literally on the corner of the free way and literally a walk towards Baypoint, a literal neighboring city. They can't as much help as fast as they could, as they are practically in the middle of nowhere with the exception of maybe the BART Station and park nearby. So if anything, when coming by, be a bit sympathetic towards the guys helping you out: they already deal with enough broken equipment, so catch them a break and try to be civil about problems in the gas station. read more

I come to this gas station 5-6 days a week to get gas before I head to work. There is uneducated workers at this new gas station. I came in to buy my daughter candy. The guy said is that your phone in your pocket. I thought I left the flash light on or something. I pull it out it's not on. He said there has been a lot of thefts here. You do not ask people to empty out there pockets without evidence that they placed something in there pocket. So mean to say this guy is going to ask everyone that walks in to empty they pockets without out reason. It's like if you walking down the street minding your own business and a policeman searches you for no reason. This guys is clearly not educated and unprofessional. I was happy when Arco opened near my house. They have cheaper gas than all the other stations around and this station has a lot of pumps. However, I have a few issues with this place. First of all they only take cash or debit. Uh, okay. Only gas station I know that does this is Arco. Wouldn't be a huge problem except they charge you to use debit. There machine that accepts cash still isn't working months after they opened so you have to walk in to pay cash and there is usually a line. Even at other Arco's the cash machine is constantly broken. Basically you are inconvenienced to the point it's easier to pay with debit. Next is they have a large store area but not as much food and snack selection as the smaller am/pm's I've been to. For instance they don't carry any 24 ounce beer bottles of any kind. When I asked the guy at the counter if they carry any he looked at me with a perplexed look as to why they should. Every other am/pm I have ever been to has them. Sometimes I want a beer after work and I don't need a six or twelve pack. Shortly after they opened I came here for gas and needed to put air in my tires. I looked around and couldn't find the air or water anywhere. When I went inside to ask they said "oh that won't be put in until next week". Gas stations in California are required to supply air and water to customers. Seemed like they were more in a rush to open than finish building the place. So basically besides the cheap gas, which really is a good price, there's not much of a reason to go here. I also have my doubts as to their gas being top tier quality but who knows. read more

Ok so I do like the convenience of this gas station and I do appreciate he low prices but please hire some employees that are professional and know how to conduct themselves in a place of business. While walking into the store to pay fo gas I encountered music so loud I couldn't hear the cashier even call me up to the register, there were 3 cashiers and all of them were more worried about the music playing than actual customer service. This arvo is equipped with a subway and is nice and tidy, they had the lowest price gas at the time with 2.49 a gallon. They have hot food in the stackable and good looking donuts that are probably delivered but look as if they are delivered daily. Another good thing they had more than one lane open in the morning so people could get there gas and good in the morning without much fuss. If I'm ever low on petrel and I need a quick pick me up to get home I'll be sure to stop off here again. read more

This gas station is newer and has decent prices and is stocked with food but there are always panhandlers who come up to you at the pump. I have seen the same ones on multiple trips. Also the traffic flow to the pumps is chaotic on the best day. read more

I like this gas station. Pretty convenient especially because we live up the street. It's great to have a gas station nearby where you live however it's a curse in disguise! You can't control people and their behaviors however not sure if Arco staff can tell people to lower their music as if they are in the club bumping. Every time I go there for gas there are at least 4 pumps or more "not in service" and the lines are ridiculous. People speed out of there as if it's a race track and it's sketchy as hell. I wouldn't dare to go at night that's how ridiculous it is. I've been inside a few times. The store seems pretty clean and the staff are really nice.
