They created an entire 3rd lane between each gas lane for a REASON. I think people think they're being considerate by just waiting but so many more people would get through way quicker if they would go forward. Unless people are inconsiderate/thoughtless and park further out when getting gas (which sometimes happens - please don't be that person), you can get through. Idk what some people are on about with the "get less gas mileage than other places" but I completely disagree. I get the same mileage per tank even when I end up having to go somewhere else like when traveling. I find the quality to be high; I've never had any issues with my vehicle after consistently getting Costco gas for like a decade. Hands down my favorite gas. Service is good. They always have an attendant walking around and they are attentive to any spills or needs you request such as if you are disabled, you can honk and they will come to you. Since there's no convenience store, they are focused completely on the gas.

It took me 4 months for an appointment because VHR is so busy with numerous projects. ALL cool cars. I accepted that 4 month appointment and just waited because the service is fantastic. Nothing is over looked. In fact I had a serious issue and didn't even know about it until it was pointed out. The wait is worth it and yes they are expensive but WHAT YOU GET IS WORTH IT. I cannot recommend them highly enough. After four plus years at other shops I know a bit about the process. I'll spare you the ups and downs of the whole journey but there was a point where I had to pull the plug on the second shop with some tasks remaining. Vintage Hot Rod was able to pick up and finish their work and correct mistakes that had been made. This shop has several guys working on projects, so the collective expertise is there to make sure that problems can be solved. They finished installing trim pieces, fixed the other guys mistakes in wiring and got it running again. All in short order. And yes, they communicated well with me the entire time. A word to anyone thinking of getting into classic cars; it takes a lot of money and it takes a lot of time. More of both than you will ever anticipate. If you think you are going to get a car and fix it up for cheap...you won't. It's far better to get a car that's already finished. There are lots of unpleasant surprises when you start rehabbing a car. Vintage Hot Rod did not do my body work. Their estimate was too high for me. I went with a shop that had a little better deal but less collective experience. In retrospect, I think I should have gone with Vintage Hot Rod. It may have been less expensive in the long run as it would have been done right the first time. Hindsight...
