Recently, I also reported the Safeway and Arco located at Placerville, their gas prices which remains as status quo as of today, 1/17/2019; however, the Arco via Highway 50 and Cambridge Exit is selling their regular gas at $2.79 per gallon which is the same gas price as the Arco via Green Valley Road in El Dorado Hills. In addition, I just don't even bother mentioning Chevron or Shell, i.e., Shell was an Apartheid promoter so, I totally ignore not mentioning their "punch-you-in-the-face," nose-bleed, gas pump, price points . . . The first pump we pulled up to was out of order, so we went to the one in front of it. That one was out of order as well. Thought maybe it was this section of the gas station so we drove over to another set of pumps. Same result. They were all out of order. A fail in terms of getting gas. The store is your typical convenience store with snacks, drinks, sundries, the like. they also have a deli, but when I was there on a Saturday at 11 AM, it wasn't open. They do have a good selection of beer, wine, a few souvenirs such as shirts, and they even sell Sacramento Kings and other trading cards. They have a car wash, but it is a touchless car wash. I personally have not had a lot of luck with touchless car washes. . One thing that they don't have, is any slot machines. A lot of the Native American gas stations do have an area that you can play slots. But since this is not on the same property as the casino, that may be the reason that they don't. The outcome of using this type of gas can range from rough idling to engine failure, due to carbon deposits that ruin your engine. Kind of like how cholesterol clogs your arteries.
