I never received an email with further steps. I arrived at the Harbison campus promptly, only to be directed to the Beltline campus because Harbison's one advisor didn't arrive til "around 8:30". I drove to Beltline and was directed to the Airport campus, because Beltline did not offer advising for my major (Nursing/Pre health). The system that awaited me at Airport was incompetent and unprofessional. After excessive wait times I met with two separate advisors, only to then be directed to another office to fill out more incomplete paperwork. FIVE, I kid you not, five hours later, I am only able to be registered for one class. This process would have been so much more efficient if communication between students and staff was better, as well as communication between each office (admissions and registration, specifically). The staff members I had the unfortunate opportunity of working with were not helpful or competent. I hope this frustrating day of jumping through hoops is no indication of my coming student experience. I normally don't write reviews but after this exasperating experience, I had to share! This location cannot remedy any issues involving a student's account or closing a student's account…read moretimely -- which locks up financial aid when the student transfers to a different university. All contact must be managed with their covert corporate people whom have very protected access only by Strayer employees. I've had to readdress the same issue several times and it didn't get resolved until I contacted the SC Education Commission on Higher Education to get involved by reporting an "incident' against the school. Turns out this is regular treatment by Strayer and there were other students filing the same sort of action with the Commission. Glad to have finally broken away and ultimately got it resolved completely. Of 2 instructors, one was fantastic - the other didn't provide grades or comments timely to the class for weeks and then by the time students had the information on changes that needed to be applied, the course was well overwith. Poor experience overall. Staff are limited in knowledge, capabilities, and accessibility. Faculty are a crapshoot. Better education is available elsewhere with much less hassle.

I not only learned lots of valuable information about my field in Information Systems, but gained partners in helping my education expand, by going on to get completely degree in 1 and half years instead of 2 and half. They tell you to wait until close to your test time to do the driving lesson, but then can not accommodate you. I had 2 other children go the program and it was an easy process. I would not recommend this company based on the current practice.
