I have no problem with that, but it would have been nice to have known that upfront. When I arrived, they had forgotten to create the copies I asked for. They gave me a small discount for having to come back again. Overall, it was a decent experience. I may or may not go back to get others done. UPDATE: I went back in this week to get another vhs transferred and had a MUCH better customer service experience. It was also a different worker than last time. This one was kind, greeted me, and was much more pleasant. He also asked me if I had a time line I needed for the dvds, something the other worker hadn't asked. I will DEFINITELY be returning.

He was unsuccessful at getting it unlocked so he said he could order and cut me a new key. The kicker is he wants to be paid upfront by cash app. DO NOT Pay this guy. After he gets the money he will just start ignoring you! I paid Gomex Locksmith $240 for a replacement key and was told they would come out Tuesday 2/3/26. He was at my house 1/31 That turned into Friday. Then I was told the key had to be ordered from the factory and would arrive Saturday. Saturday came and went with no key, no service, and no follow-up. Every time I would call he would not answer and text hours or days later coming up with an excuse. After that, communication dropped off. I was eventually told I would receive a refund, but that still hasn't happened. So at this point I paid $240, received no service, no key, and no refund -- just delays and excuses for 3 weeks. I gave multiple chances to resolve this before posting. If you need a locksmith who shows up, communicates clearly, and follows through on what they promise, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

There's a reason this one is still around and it did not disappoint. I've been a hobby photographer for 10+ years but recently decided to get more serious. I purchased my first professional camera, a Canon 1DX. Omaha's best photography store, Rockbrook camera is pretty good, but when they didn't have a replacement battery (they carry it but were sold out), I decided to call around to find one in my area. Mind you, my camera is not cheap and it's a bit specialty but I was pretty surprised to find that after calling all the stores in Omaha and even Kansas City, I called a few in Des Moines with success. That is, until I called another local Des Moines store and when I started expressing my journey one of them said "we don't carry your battery, but you should probably just give Christian a try. If anyone will have it, they will." A short call confirmed this and I decided to head that way on my next day off. I was happy just to find an OEM replacement battery just for my model, but when I walked into the store I was even more impressed. I won't lie, the store is a bit old fashion in decor, but it's not "Bells and whistles" that I need on the wall. The selection there of camera bags, memory, stands, tripods, lights, camera and lenses were fantastic for professional level photography. The sign even mentioned they buy and sell used cameras. They do sensor cleanings and other services (such as printing and framing) which is what you want from a great store. I think the thing that impressed me the most was the several older workers in the store that took the time to not only answer your questions but really get to know you and your shooting style. I called ahead and I knew they had what I wanted, but they took the time to ask what I was shooting and actually listened. And it wasn't to qualify what else they could sell me. Bryan even shared a story about the owners of my hometown store in Omaha just to relate and "shoot the sh*t". You can tell they are passionate about their photography and they entrench themselves into the photography community. I'm a little old school, but this place has the charm and selection I like and I was blown away with their hospitality. It's those simple thing like actually listening and relating to a customer that make a repeat customer. Due to the distance I'm not sure I'll honestly make this my immediate go-to camera store, but I'm certainly glad I stopped by and won't hesitate to recommend this place to the camera/photography enthusiast as a must try. If you just own a point and shoot and aren't fully into photography and just need a little advice, I wouldnt hesitate to try this place either.
