I let them haul it off to their yard so that insurance would deal with it and took a Lyft back home. (Tow driver got all nice after that.) Insurance just told me that they weren't able to facilitate the release of my vehicle and I need to drive back down (in what car?) to release it in person. There is a remote validation option, but only for those out of state. The longer it takes me to find a way to get down there, the more they get to charge for keeping my vehicle in their yard. They're scamming every step of the way.
