I did follow a protocol and left a voicemail to cancel service in April 2024. Tech showed up in June to do a service call that I had not asked for and previously canceled. Ithe informed the company via email that I wanted to cancel my service. This is the email response that I received after submitting that request to cancel email. " I see. Most companies back up their service with free service calls. I am no different. But you never expressed any dissatisfaction other than the tree out front with ants. Why would you just switch companies after I provided you with years of satisfactory service without giving me a chance to even do a free service call? I even created a custom program that skipped the winter months, specifically for you. Are you working directly with the owner? Or did you sign up with some nameless, faceless corporation where you're just a number? I know all my customers by name and address and care about them and the service they receive. I can drive right to your house without even using the GPS. And you get me doing the service personally almost every time. What could another company have to offer you that's better than that?" He lets me know his ETA and was always on time. I had to reschedule a few visits due to illness and he worked with me. I HIGHLY recommend Hoke Pest control for his great service, communication, and I'm always wanting to promote a local business vs a corporation that really sees us as numbers and not trusted clients. He took his time examining the areas and diagnosed the situation and entry points. He treated my basement and around the foundation. He then educated me on the reasons these little pests kept entering. He came back a 2nd time, as part of the service, to check on everything and retreat if necessary. A few weeks later I had a problem with yellow jackets and Jerry came out immediately and he had the problem taken care of in no time. He texted me pictures so I could see the before and after! Jerry is the best and I have total confidence in his abilities. The chemicals he used were pet friendly, so my cat was in no danger of getting sick. Please call Hoke! You will be a customer for life!

    If I could give ZERO stars I would. Do NOT use this company. They lock you into a contract for…read moreone year and then rip you off. We had their service tech over last week who supposedly filled all of our bait stations and I told him we were still getting spiders and he rudely said that's why he was there. He never asked to come inside and spray. He came and left quickly. This was our quarterly service in which he was barely here. I suspected he didn't do his job so a competitor came over who asked permission to come around with us and unlock the bait stations so we could at least see if he filled them. Every single one was empty. This was DAYS after the Greenix guy supposedly filled them. He never went around our pool area which he was asked to do. Never went to our front/side area. We caught them about 6 months ago not filling the bait stations so I called and had them come back. The bait stations are locked so unless you have time to follow these guys around your home they will tell you they filled them and you have to trust that they did. Thank GOD our one year contract was up so I called them today to cancel. I told the person what was going on and of course she transferred me to the lady supervisor. I had to repeat myself to her and the conversation started pleasant enough and she told me that the guy who just serviced us was just terminated (pretty convenient) and that they would like to earn back our business by giving us a $200 credit. First I accepted then while on hold I filled my husband in on what was happening and he thought they took enough of our money and we just need to be done with them. So when the supervisor came back I told her that we didn't want the credit and to just cancel us. Things really went south after that. She started getting feisty and told me I had to hear her out and that I needed to let them earn back our trust. That got me worked up and I started telling her to cancel and that was it. She told me I HAD to hear her out and then started arguing with me. I have NEVER in my life had to yell that loudly to get someone to listen. It was WILD and grossly inappropriate. She started arguing against everything I was saying. We wasted SO MUCH MONEY with this company and then they tell me I need to listen to her and let her speak? I don't think so. Note to Greenix- When you haven't been filling bait stations and stick around for less than 10 min and don't let me out of my contract without paying $300+ dollars, you don't get to tell me I have to listen to your garbage spiel and tell me I have to take your shitty $200 credit before you'll cancel me. This is THE WORST customer service and service that I have ever encountered. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. And, don't take my word for it. If I would have researched them prior to signing up, (which I regret that I didn't) I would have seen other reviews say that they do not fill their bait stations and are a scam. They shouldn't even be in business.

    My contract ended in June. I wanted out due to the cost (25$ higher than every pest control company…read morein my area) and continually asking them to give me 24 hours notice so my dogs could be contained. They would call the day of service Everytime to inform me they were on the way. I would inform them they could not come because no arrangements could be made for my dogs and that I was supposed to be contacted. They did not spray in June and charged my account. I asked for a refund because SERVICES WERE NOT RENDERED. My choice was they would spray in July or I would be charged the monthly service fee with no spray for June while paying the fee. In my opinion extremely dishonest company. I literally gave them 92$ to not follow their procedures to contact me and in order close my account. I won't use them in the future and wouldn't recommend you do either.
