It was so simple yet so perfect. I accompanied it with a excellent glass of glass of the local sweet 'Malvasia Dolce. This was probably one of the best lunches I had in my entire Italy trip and also one of the cheapest. I finished it off with a tiramisu and an espresso. My favourite part of not only the restaurant but Parma is the lack of tourists. I was the only none Italian in the restaurant and there were practically no tourists in the city. The owner immediately struck up conversation and started us on a tasting spree of his delicious limoncello varieties! Between 'shots' of his homemade limoncello, we sampled some of his fresh jams & preserves as well. So tasty! He was SOO friendly and gave us so many great recommendations, we definitely did not walk out empty-handed! When you know you are in a small space which has seen the likes of Muhammad Ali and Anthony Bourdain and many other celebrities, you surely feel you are at the correct spot.
