I also love that she takes notes on what I am saying so I am confident that her dictated note will accurately reflect my visit. The staff seem to care about the patients. They are knowledgeable and kind. Dr. Blake's nurse, Linda is great. We played phone tag one day and each time we missed each other, she called back. I have had experiences in the past, with other practices where it takes a few days for a returned call. Linda listened to my concerns via phone and even recommended some over the counter medication to address my symptoms. We waited for nearly an hour to be seen after about 35 minutes, I went to the front desk to ask if the doctor is running late (as in, if he is, shouldn't the patients be informed of this????). The young lady dismissively informed me that there is always at least a 30-minute wait - as if this is something to be proud of and as if this is normal. I mentioned that at the very least, customers should be informed of this ahead of time. It really irks me to think that some doctor offices just feel that the patient's time doesn't matter and is just not taken into consideration at all. Being this late can cause a ripple effect, especially when patients/customers have other appointments as well.
