The portal doesn't work. I had an issue with side effects due to a prescribed med and mentioned it in July. The site states 2 days for reply, still waiting 5 months later. Called and left message to speak with my doctor, doctor called wrong number. Office person tells me that the number is my primary . . . it is not. Mentioned speaking with doctor again with the right phone number, still waiting. read more

AIM has been my healthcare center for 30 years or more. The doctors that I have seen have been knowledgeable and, mostly, very caring. I have had no problems with the billing or the insurance people and find the front desk people very pleasant. I have had several tests done in the office, and the results were delivered promptly. I plan to stay with AIM until I pass on! read more

As I sit here in the waiting room at Albany Internal Medicine I am realizing, as a registered nurse of 41 years, that we have reached a very sad day in modern American healthcare. I have accompanied my sister in-law and 90 year old mother in-law here to see her primary care provider to discuss potential hospice options her. My sister in law and I were both allowed into the waiting room, but only one of us was allowed to accompany her in to see the doctor. We are both triple CoVid 19 vaccinated and wearing mask. The conversations we are to have with the doctor today are tough and emotional for all of us. Sometimes the ears and input of more than one family member are needed to make these most important informed decisions. I am sure they will say the rationale for only allowing one family member is to help stop the spread of Covid. Again, we are triple vaxed and wearing mask. And I am allowed to wait in the waiting room. It is my personal opinion, having experienced this same issue before with my own mother and sister at another clinic in another state, that Covid is bring used as an excuse by healthcare providers to not to have conversations with multiple family members. More family members equal more questions and longer office visit times, and we all know time is money. Just my thoughts since I have plenty of time to record them while sitting here in the waiting room. My mother in-law has been a patient here for many years and has always received excellent care. As I stated earlier it is a sad day in the history of our healthcare system when family members cannot receive adequate counsel about serious matters under the guise of preventing the spread of Covid. read more

Dr. Williams truly DOES NOT care about her patients. Would rather you call in and talk than go in a see her to really address your symptoms. When you can get in, she orders lab work and puts you out of work until the results come in. However, she doesn't tell you that all lab work is done "in house" so they can make more money. One person working in the lab and results are delayed indefinitely leaving you susceptible to discipline from your employer. It's been 72 hours since labs done and nurse just told me that "we will call when the results come back. The person in the lab is backed up and Dr. Williams didn't put them in as STAT." Will be finding another Dr who actually cares. read more

I have been going to Albany ENT for about 33 years. I have always found Dr Mann and his staff to be warm, friendly, considerate, and caring. They will work you in when you are sick and the wait times are never very long. I would definitely recommend Dr Mann to anyone, in fact I have done so many times. Office staff and nurses are rude and disrespectful. And no one there understands or cares about patient continuity of care.

Dr Stubbs and staff are the best. When I am in need of medical service non emergency they find out what the problem is and treat it. My brother had a stroke, his doctor ( I think ) works at this clinic. I calledd numerous times to confirm this, only to be hung up on each time. I finally got the message from the operator that they are on headphones.................she could not hear me, I could hear her fine. I use a c/p ( like many people today, this is all I have). I'm not an electronics geek, so I don't know what the problem is, I'm sure people in that area ( I do not live in that area) call from a c/p all the time . I've since learned even my brother has a problem contacting your office. Don't know if this has anything to do with it, but he too uses a c/p. Albany Internal Medicine has provided valuable services for me of over five years. My doctor of choice is Frank Jones MD and his fantastic nurse Sara. This practice is the best run, that I have ever experience. It is professional, through, and a great place to be fortunate enough to attend on a regular basis. I went to Dr. Abeja and she was great. Her nurse was also good. They are very efficient with everything: lab, x-ray, EKG etc. onsite. In addition they are up to date with electronic prescriptions and up to date checkout stations. One of the best of Albany. For once I can say you don't need to drive to Atlanta to find better. read more
