None could be given except that I would receive a call thirty minutes prior to the arrival. At 2:30 in the afternoon the call finally happened and he said he'd be here in 20 minutes. The technician arrived and within 15 minutes I was told that he'd have to run diagnostic testing. I had to sign off off on the paperwork charging me over $300 or I could pay the $75 trip charge and nothing would be completed. Of course after waiting a week and most of the day I signed the contract. 15 minutes later the problem was identified and fixed, a ridiculous amount of money was charged. I do not recommend this company!!! Although the work was completed within 35 minutes start to finish, the amount of money spent was way over the top! I'm more than sure another company could have done just as good a job, given me a time frame when they would arrive and charged me less than half of what I was charged. Shame on Current Electric.

The next day she wrote again to say he would like to come 2 hours later. Three weeks later, on the day we agreed, our skylight was installed. Dan was courteous and knowledgable. We opted for the "pre fab" light shaft thing too. I wish it sat perfectly flush to ceiling... But caulking an 1/8" gap isn't too hard. The cost was to penny we agreed a month prior. The time frame was accurate. We plan to use the same company for some light tunnels next year. Very pleased. Expect to pay 30% down after you agree to your install date.

Our house has a complicated driveway and parking situation which their crew was able to work around seamlessly. Our HOA had its own approval layer on top of the city permit, and Sun Vault Roofing helped us navigate a two-week back-and-forth over approved shingle colors (side salad: ridiculous that HOAs have this kind of bureaucracy). Despite the complications, Sun Vault Roofing kept us updated through every delay and milestone without us having to chase anyone down. That alone was worth the price difference. The crew showed up on time, worked two full days, and left the yard cleaner than they found it. The roof has now been through 2-3 major storms since installation, including the crazy hail in April and there is not a speck of damage. Everything looks sharp and clean. You can tell was done right all the way from the street. If you're getting multiple bids for a roof replacement in the Madison area, make sure Sun Vault Roofing is one of them. Just don't let the price be the reason you go somewhere else, if they are not the lowest. The quality they provide is worth it.

The installation went smoothly and the crew was knowledgeable, professional, well-organized, and great at communicating with us. We've had no issues with the panels in the 5+ years since then, and I admit it's fun to check the app to see how much energy they produce. More recently, we did have an issue with a family of squirrels that took up residence under the panels, causing some damage. When I reached out to the company to ask for advice about addressing the issue, they got us on the schedule for repairs and critter guard installation. Nest removal was handled by a different company, which left the remains of the nest all over the roof, deck, and lawn. The crew was unfazed by the mess and got to work. They were organized, efficient, responsive to my questions - and they certainly left everything in far better shape than they found it. I can't recommend them highly enough - and though I would now recommend having critter guards installed when the panels are installed, this approach was cost-effective and the work was done well.

The entire project was completed in a timely manner with no complications. The system works flawlessly and has helped us cut our home's energy consumption substantially. One of the great features that Rik included with our system is access to the online portal that tracks power output on a minute-by-minute basis. It is really cool to have this added information that shows how many Watts our system is producing as well as the total production over any time period we input. We are extremely proud of the quality and performance of our system. We would like to expand it in the future and plan to work with Rik and Midwest Solar Power again. At this point, I was on my own to troubleshoot the system. (The problem was the wrong country code was in the converter and as soon as I changed that, the system has worked flawlessly.) The two important complaints is that the agreement allowed for a $1,200 rebate and I was told the Carbon Credit application was completed. Darren is very knowledgeable due to many years of experience and will glady provide suggestions. All of the work was done in a timely and efficient manner, even if it meant working a little beyond normal hours. Expectations were clearly and concisely presented before work was started so I knew ahead of time what to expect. He's also very good at working around any problems that may occur, such as studs and concrete being in the way of where wiring or electrical boxes need to go.
