I recently had 2 plumbers replace a Tub from Gen3. The original was installed incorrectly 4 years…read moreago by a local company I had worked with in the past. After 6 months of promises to fix, I called Gen3. They sent 2 plumbers to my home and immediately got to work. The carefully cut through tile, removed and saved what they could, and ultimately got the tub installed. After talking to 3 other local contractors who didn't want the job, They drove an hour to my house and fixed the issue in hours. They were: 1.) Professional 2.) Knew exactly what to do 3.) Cleaned up a VERY messy project before leaving 4.) Very focused on getting it done...no wasted time at all. After installing the toilet, I noticed that the plumber left the existing dirty rusty escutcheon still on the wall. I had an older sink, and just wanted to refresh the faucet and piping underneath. The faucet didn't fit, and it left a gap, and the piping underneath made the new drain crooked and looked horrible!! The mixing valve was facing the inside of the shower instead of facing out for easy access last but not least, my showerhead went missing, they claimed it was never in the box, and I know my daughter would not have bought a showerhead kit without a showerhead.! Like I said, worst experience ever! PS it's my understanding. I was to be compensated for the poor customer service. I personally think this whole situation could have been avoided. Had they come to the house so I could tell them what I wanted done. Maybe these issues could've been avoided!
