(never will buy through LL again) Steve worked with us and tried to help us in our claim we filed against LL.. It was a perfect install, the material was bad. I appreciate Steve going above and beyond.

I had met with a few flooring companies before finally deciding on SW Contractors through Lumber…read moreLiquidators' third-party referral program. I was skeptical as they are the only contractors Lumber Liquidators refers to but I can understand why they maintain that referral relationship: SW Contractors are top notch. Our job was an involved one as we were ripping out tile and carpet throughout our downstairs and putting down hardwood in the kitchen, living, two closets, hallway, bathroom and entryway. Steve came to the house and was able to give a detailed (and pretty competitive) quote right then and there. We had some tight scheduling issues as I wanted the rest of the family out of the house for the install. Laura, the business/office manager, worked with me to get our project scheduled on exactly the days I needed. The crew of three arrived and immediately got to work. By mid-morning, they already had ALL the demo done! Jose, William and Eduardo were fast and meticulous - even taking extra (unexpected) steps to minimize the mess (which, if you've ever removed tile, you know there is a LOT of mess!) They hauled away all of their waste when they were done, too and even kept their work area neat between project days- something I didn't expect but really appreciated. I LOVE my new floor. We went with the taller baseboards as Steve recommended and the finished product is gorgeous, contemporary and SO clean! Laura was even helpful in getting some questions answered for me after the install was finished and emphasized that they would be more than happy to come take a look at anything should I have any concerns.

They did a beautiful job installing carpet in our house. They had a great selection, excellent…read moreservice.

We were happy with the carpet quality and information Kevin provided regarding price and scheduling…read morebut the installation was another story. We were very clear that the carpet was being installed on the 2nd floor and the rooms are large, which they knew. The installation crew of 2 people, a man and woman, arrived as scheduled (8am) and began removing the carpet. The shock came when I saw that the man was putting the old carpet/padding through the window and onto the roof. After there where 4-5 rolls of the old carpet/padding on the roof, he climbed out of the window and threw them to the ground. Frankly, I about had a stroke! Not only was that extremely dangerous but was not good for my 2 year old roof. Then they tried to move the new carpet out of the truck but it was too heavy for the 2 of them to move, so my husband and I helped them get it out. They cut the carpet for the largest room (20x17) rolled it up and the man carried it up the flight of stairs to the room and dropped it. It hit the floor so hard that it knocked a picture off the wall downstairs and shook the entire house. I ran to be sure no one was hurt but he didn't look at all concerned, but he didn't carry additional pieces upstairs until additional help arrived at about 1pm. They continued putting old carpet/padding on the roof and then throwing them off. They worked quickly laying the carpet and putting things back. They clearly were not coming back on Friday morning to finish putting things back or clean up the debris in our yard. Perhaps, we made the mistake of moving things into one room to save time. The carpet does look nice but I'm not sure that it will stand the test of time; only time will tell...
