I booked a day-of appointment for a tiny tattoo. It was an important anniversary and they were nice enough to squeeze me in because the tattoo was a simple line and wouldn't take more than 5 minutes. They booked me for 9 pm. It was well past 2 AM by the time we finally got back. And the tattoo artist wouldn't stop talking and so it took a full 45 minutes to do this one centimeter line (that was the whole tattoo.) The artist said she liked staying late so that she wouldn't go back to her old habits, which made it feel like she'd intentionally made us wait so she wouldn't be alone at night. We weren't done until 3 am. That's 6 hours past 9 pm when we were scheduled. The second we were back there she launched into telling us all the traumatic things she's experienced. I work in mental health- I definitely understand trauma. And there's no doubt she's had some unfair horrible things happen to her. But I was already in an emotional state (given the symbolism behind the tattoo) and it was really hard to be trauma dumped on. Especially without warning. Trauma dumping is so unfair and a lot of what she said triggered my own trauma. She deserves healing for what she went through but her clients aren't her therapist. She's talented and I think has a genuinely good heart but I felt like she didn't take my time or emotions seriously. It felt like I was being used for her own benefit. I had free touch ups so I tried to schedule one (despite my better judgement) and I've attached the photos of the conversation we had. She never even responded. TL;DR- I paid $60 for a tattoo that should have taken 5 minutes but instead took 6 hours. read more

Arcane art is the shit! My wife got her first tattoo here and it's awesome so I decided to give them a shot. My man Marcus Judd designed the DOPEST dragon tattoo I've ever seen. At one point I actually blacked out, I guess from the endorphin rush, and Marcus handled the situation really well. Without him there to talk me through it and make sure I didn't accidentally hurt myself things could have gone badly, but he was able to keep me from getting injured and kept me calm by explaining what was going on and talking to me to make sure I was okay; he even gave me snacks and a drink to get my blood sugar back up. My sister and I walked in to get matching tattoos. We called in a few hours before, and they turned out perfect!

When I first got here I was welcomed very warmly by the people here. The Lady who did my piercing did my form and stuff at the counter, I can't remember her name to save my life but shes amazing and she has blonde hair ‍‍. I explained that I only wanted a nostril piercing and she gave me a form to fill out and all that jazz and then we went into one of their rooms. I told her that I was nervous and I asked her about the process of doing the piercing and she was very informative when explaining it to me. She made me feel very comfortable about everything. After I got the piercing I felt a bit nauseous and she even offered me something sugary to help, which I declined because I knew I'd be fine after a couple of minutes. I just asked her if I could sit for a couple of minutes. We talked for a bit until I felt better and then we went up to the front so I could pay. Altogether it cost me $40, which is $30 for the piercing and $10 tip. I would definitely recommend this place. Very nice and clean shop. And friendly people. read more

Unfortunately, this was not the best place for me to get pierced. Three weeks ago, I had an industrial done. I followed the aftercare procedures perfectly (this was my third piercing). The swelling was still a concern to me, and some bumps had begun to form around the piercing sites. When I went to my regular piercing studio to make a jewelry purchase for a different piercing, I had the piercer take a look at the piercing to give me her thoughts. She did not like where the piercings had been placed (the top puncture was too close to my head) and thought it was too shallow. She suggested giving it a few more weeks and then maybe considering removing the jewelry. I had to go back to the piercing studio today to have a longer bar put into the cartilage piercing. A different piercer was working tonight, and she'd pierced my tragus months earlier. I asked what she thought of the industrial, and her opinions were the same as the other piercer's. Her suggestion was to remove it entirely because she did not think it was going to heal properly. I took her advice and had her remove the jewelry. She also stated that the bar used to pierce me was not of good quality. Not everyone will have the same experience; others have been pierced here and left positive reviews with no problems, which is what brought me here in the first place. However, I have to express my disappointment and the fact that I'm out the money I paid to have the piercing done, had to discard the jewelry, and have no piercing anymore. Use your best judgement when selecting this studio to do your piercing for you. read more

I was a walk in appointment but that didn't phase them. I worked with Justus to make sure my small yet very meaningful finger tattoos were perfect. If you want someone who is OCD about their work( and you should since a tattoo is for life) then Justus is your guy! He resized the image several times to make sure it was a good fit. I went around noon and talked to someone who said they were all busy but to come back around 6 or 6:30 and they would be less busy. I went back at 6:40 just to find out that they were actually booked for the rest of the day. On top of that the person I had originally talked to was apparently on the day shift and the artists there book their own appointments. Total waste of my time. Why not inform customers how the system works and not tell them they can get in later when they really can't or have no idea what availability there really is for the rest of the day. read more

I was supposed to be tattooed by Justus (I had an appointment) When I got there he was sooooo rude! He told me to fill out some paperwork and just walked off. I sat in the lobby for over half an hour just waiting. (The shop was pretty much empty, it was on a Sunday) Nobody spoke to me and Justus was nowhere to be found. DO NOT COME HERE. I got my nose pierced in August, the "owner" Kayleigh, told me I could change it from a stud to a hoop after 3-5 weeks. She also told me that I only needed to clean it sometimes, with CONTACT SOLUTION. 2 months later I came back to change it to a hoop. The same girl changed it, cinched it so tight that it was pulling down on the piercing hole, and sent me on my way. 3 days later I wake up to it bleeding and the hole was now a torn line down my nose because it was pulling down on it so hard, I tried to call the shop but for some reason it was closed on a Tuesday? Instead went to The Tattoo Shop in orem and got help there. Janae was so helpful and explained to me that you should not change to a hoop until after at least 9 MONTHS! and to clean twice a day with special solution. Luckily she was able to take the hoop out and put a stud back in and was able to fix the damage. WOULD SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND NOT COMING HERE FOR PIERCINGS! ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! read more

Wish i could give zero stars. This place has no organization. I came on Friday the 13th, which is obviously a busy day and they were not prepared at all. They called people based off of their paperwork, which they said outright was out of order. I was told the wait would be an hour, and I waited more than two hours. They told me and my friend I was with that we were next, and we watched at least 3 people go in before us after they said that. On hour 3 when they called the 5th person instead of us I said that we had been told we were next and the man with the beard and septum ring was so rude we ended up leaving. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values their own time. read more

I've found it. By golly, I've found it. The BEST tattoo parlour I've ever been to. My friend and I were walk ins last night. My first opinion was that it was the cleanest shop I've ever been into. We had some ideas that we wanted, some arrows and geometrical shapes. Cole greeted us (SO nice and professional) and started working on drawing something up for my friend using the pictures we provided him. Daniel (who was my artist) came over to me and we worked together to draw something up. He was so patient and understanding when I would sometimes change his drawings (call me a little OCD haha, but this gem is a permanent thing, at that point its ok to be a little OCD.) He drew out something SO amazing and beautiful, his specialty lies in clean lines so I knew I was in good hands. He turned on some epic movie music soundtracks, and it was a nice refresher from the death metal/screamo you always hear in shops. He was fast and efficient, and i LOVE my tattoo. Its a beautiful, original arrow/geometric shape down my spine. Its beautiful. Pricing was good, company was good, everything was SO GOOD. This has been one of the most unorganized and unprofessional tattoo shops I have ever tried working with. Since day 1 I have been frustrated with their immature attitude and unprofessionalism. For myself it was damn near impossible to get anything accomplished by phone, and after popping in enough to track down an artist, my appointment was rescheduled by text message twice. Both times hours before my appointment. I have been getting tattoos for years and am very disappointed with this parlor. I had my first tattoo done here and I had to go back in for touch ups and it was impossible to get ahold of the artist the person who answered the phone told me they will give him the message and have him call back never happened I called several times being told the same thing until I finally got ahold of artist. The person who answered the phones was very rude and told me it's not their job to make sure they call me back. Anyways I get ahold of the artist schedule my touch up drive 30 min to shop to be told by the rudest girl that he doesn't work there any longer and they can't help me and told me I could try to find him on Facebook but that's it's. she was so rude and so unwilling to help. This business gets a 5. The art gets a 5. But the customer service of one particular artist is atrocious. I went to Audrey twice, both times/art were awesome. I recommended her to so many people. I know of at least three of my friends that went to her because of me. A few months ago I tried to get in contact with her the way we had communicated in the past, through texting, but I never heard back. Weeks went by so I sent her another message and still no response. Same thing happened several weeks later. I though maybe she had just gotten a new number, but one of my friends that had gone to her said she had just been in contact with her that week. Three messages over the course of a couple of months and no response. Another friend that had never gone to her, but was interested, emailed her and got offered a same day appt. I decided to try email then, since it seemed to be her preferred way of communication. It's now been 3 weeks and no email response. All I wanted was a DAMN TOUCHUP! She is so unprofessional and if you don't tattoo something that she designs or that she wants to do, she won't contact you. Period. It's utterly ridiculous for someone who is offering a service as their occupation to act like this. Audrey gets a 1 star. read more
