Very clean dog park. They have complimentary poop bags and dog water fountain. It's split between big and small dog areas. The people are friendly and everyone makes sure they clean up after their pup. So glad to have found this gem.

So sad that we have a great little dog park and OWNERS are NOT picking up their dog poops!!! I came here often and I feel like I am the pooping pick up for all the dog owners. Please PICK UP your dog POOP!!! We finally have a remodel dog park with grass, and dog owners don't appreciate!!! I have met owners from all neighborhood, all very nice people! But why do owners think is okay not to pick up your dog poop!!! Very annoying!!!

I rarely frequent this part of the city, so was not very familiar with the location of the park. It's pretty much located around a lot of houses and near an underpass; lots of street parking, and gates that seem to carefully close behind you so your dog won't run out onto the street without you. It's quite ideal if you want your dog to get some exercise and you want some fresh air as well. Since there are gates and fences to enclose your dogs, you don't have to worry about them taking off on you! There are two sections to the dog park (as well as a whole jungle gym area for kids in another section) where one is for smaller dogs that require the dogs to be leashed and an unleashed section for the larger dogs. My smaller section has more hills and benches, while the unleashed section has a big area for the dogs to run and catch balls and toys. There is a water fountain and there were two plastic bins that I ended up cleaning and filling with fresh water for all of the dogs. There aren't any dog poop bags, but there are shovels for you to ... carry the poop to the trashcan? And a few scattered benches for people to sit on. Overall I think this is a pretty nice dog park. It's not the nicest, but the area for the dogs to run around and exercise in while still being fenced in is really big. You don't have to worry about them escaping or running off (although keep an eye on the gates as your dog might slip through!); there are lots of trees which enclose one end of the park that isn't gated in. I came on a Saturday afternoon and it was quite busy. There were maybe about 6 other dogs in the unleashed section, but people come and go. The park closes at dusk .. and there are people who don't clean up their dog's mess so watch where you step. I unfortunately stepped in dog poop and ... was wearing sandals. Not the best choice of footwear.

Smaller than I thought but about 40% shade. Not the best for an super active dog. Pretty clean, some dog poo laying around but not bad.

Glad to see a dog park open for our pups. Most of the dog owners here are responsible, but, as always, there are a few who aren't. Several benches for sitting. Several trash cans and the one by the entrance usually has poop bags.

Hit there twice with my dogs lately and felt comfortable obviously comparing to the previous situation, and it's good to come back often since it's new and close to my place.

Love this park 2 separate gates for small and big dogs. Always Plenty of dogs to play with

A unique, clean dog park situated under a freeway overpass... While I wouldn't take the most sensitive nervous-nelly type pup here (because of the loud noise from the freeway and busy street), it was fun to sniff around in all the nooks and crannies and investigate the many trees and plants. For being such a bright warm Thursday afternoon, sadly there were not as many dogs around as one would think. So I am doing my part to advertise this seemingly underutilized good sized patch of grass and odd cement/dirt area off leash dog playground. There wasn't a spare tennis ball in sight, but luckily I brought my own toy to play with. Too bad I had to share it with the two other bored dogs that were there. Oh, well. At least I didn't have to share the one and only little water dish available. I guess the other dogs couldn't work up a thirst since there was only the one ball to play with... The small dog area was completely empty all the while we were visiting the big dog area. It too was an odd mix of cement and grass. Jenny L.'s directions are helpful. Park on 2nd street or in the parking lot near the end of the field.

Is the dog park open again? Last time I went they were remodeling.

Yes

Is this place still open? I see a lot of construction going on

I have a small puppy chihuahua and I want to know if it is safe to let him run lose at this park? Will he be able to run out or is it completely and safely fenced so small doggies won't run away?!

There's great benches all around the grassy area and a few tables with shade in the corner of the small dog area. Right behind it, the large dog area offers a long pen for dogs to run across and back, with a good mix of grass and dirt patches. There are even a few fun obstacles for the pups to interact with. They were a bit too large for our boy's stubby legs, but could be lots of fun for larger dogs. Also a few tables there for owners to sit if desired, as well as a few nice clean benches. Fountains available in both the large and small pen for the dogs, in addition to waste baskets as well as poop bags. Everything you need. Relatively large free parking lot in the front. Just an overall five star experience and we'll definitely be back soon.

The section for large dogs is bigger than the section for small dogs. Poop bags and water stations are available in both spaces. There are a few benches and tables in each area as well. This park is fairly well-maintained, although it could be better. Most dog owners that I've run into seem friendly and responsible. However, there are some owners that are completely careless and do not control their misbehaving dogs. Watch out for some of the huskies that are brought here (they can get aggressive). Hours are supposedly 7am to 7pm everyday. However, I have run into multiple instances where they have not opened up yet even though it was past 7am. It would be nice if they opened the park in a timely manner.

Again, there are 8 permanent pickleball courts. We used two of them. We didn't have to wait nor did we have to give up our courts during our visit. We got almost 2 full hours of fun play until it got dark. So cool! Courts were really nice. However, they may need to be swept and rinsed down. There are 3 entrances onto the courts. Benches are available on one side. The waitlist rotation paddle system is closer to the benches. Restrooms are nearby the courts, but if they are closed, you'll have to walk over to the other restrooms near the children's playground or basketball courts area. Btw, the pickleball courts do not have any lights for night play. Once it gets dark, you'll have to call it a night! However, the tennis courts do have lights for evening play. If allowed (not sure), you may bring your portable pickleball net and lines for use. Just a thought. Weekends will probably be very crowded. So come early to snatch a court for however long possible until waitlist rotation comes into the picture. I'll definitely be back to LOP for more fun pickleball play. Thanks LOP! Sorry, still no photos at this time.
