My former love and I never had to step foot in Weichert Realtor's offices as Peter A., our Realtor always came directly to our doorstep. He does not use a laptop for the initial pitch, but uses the old fashion techniques of traditional paper detailing his strategy for selling your home. Laptops for Realtors to present their real estate bids are rather common robots, intimidating, and feeds a machine, generic callous appearance. He is extremely knowledgeable about the overall concept practice of cooperative apartments with respect to the board's governance of bylaws which he complies thoroughly, where unlike many ignorant Realtors who wish to do what they want to dismiss the board's governance of bylaws and extreme measuring regulations. He is honest and direct with his real estate tactics and overall professionalism. I'm not going to rate Peter A. or Weichert Realtors with five stars because they have a continual habit for lateness which is usually either fifteen minutes or twenty minutes and have no regard for "time is money." If you have a real estate need to buy/sell Peter A. will accomplish the task!

This ended up being a GREAT decision. George is very professional and courteous, and he genuinely wants to get you the best apartment and rental rate he possibly can. The first apartment he showed me met my specifications exactly (and he provided round-trip transportation from his office), and as soon as I knew I wanted it he immediately set things in motion. Later that day I was approved and I signed the lease the next morning. The entire process felt very smooth and fast. The NYC rental market is a tough beast to navigate, and George was more than willing to answer all my questions about rent, fees, upkeep, tenants' rights, early lease breaking, and any other minor concerns I had as a first-time renter. I walked away not only with a great apartment, but a much better understanding of how the market works. But it doesn't end there. When it came time to renew my lease, my landlord raised the rent by quite a bit. After informing George of this, he helped me negotiate the new rate down to a much more reasonable number! I can't recommend George enough. He's on your side through the entire process and he works very hard to make sure you have everything you need.

One of the agents - Luis Santana - is very nice and accommodating at first (as expected) but very rude once you show interest in an apartment. Right after we applied, he has been nothing but condescending and insulting with his responses to us knowing that this is the first apartment me and my husband are renting. He willingly worked with us and acknowledged that we were both working professionals with little to no time and that we were making a great effort to meet with him in a very short notice (during lunch breaks) and he still got irritated and mad because we notified him we were going to be late and apologized for it. We understood the importance of moving fast and wanted him to get paid as soon as possible because he really liked him. I can understand why he would be annoyed by clients being late, but all of his responses and behavior has been nothing but unpleasant to begin with (besides the showing). He is rude and way too emotional, not a good look. Maybe he's in the wrong field? Not that it matters, but he and his agency won't be getting our business next time which is sad because we had a great first impression and we were excited to refer our friends who are apartment hunting in the same area to him. I hope he ate well with his 50%. There's truly little to nothing keeping people from being great and I guess that's the difference between who makes it to that 1% in Real Estate. What a bummer.
