Arcadia Management Area offers several trails for a variety of fitness levels. The Roaring Brook trail is a boardwalk that is wheelchair accessible. It wanders past a small falls from the pond and has a some viewing platforms, fishing areas as well as places to sit a spell and share a meal or enjoy the area. The boardwalk pathway is 'there and back again' with a parking area at both ends.
The management area is 14,000 acres and includes Browning Mill pond where you'll find one of Tomas Dambo's trolls and Stepping Stone Falls trail. They have rustic camp sites and day hike areas. Fishing and hunting are allowed during specific times of the year.
Trails are used by hikers, horseback riders and cyclists. Definitely check out their web page for information such as when to wear your orange (so you're not mistaken for a deer), how to get a license to fish or hunt, to make camping reservations and more. read more
