I would call for a oil change and the service writer was always kind and would say "let me check on any deals for you". I purchased a 2024 Chevy truck on 11/2/2024. Was the worst experience! I had to renew plates from my SUV (expired for 2 days) I was trading in so they could transfer plates (we live in a different state). We said multiple times that our state doesn't allow vehicle plates to be transferred to pickup. We were assured that they could be transferred & charged for the transfer. I found out by researching & calling my state that they could not be transferred. After multiple attempts to get this straightened out with the dealership, which they were informed by my home state & the dealership filed the proper paperwork, I had to ask my home state to send me new plates (another charge of $151.00). I finally received the valid, legal plates on 3/13/25, only 4 months later. Unacceptable in the way the dealership handled this mess, that's all I can say. read more

They supposedly did an inspection on my vehicle with my oil change and tire rotation but failed to notice a transmission leak and tires that were in bad condition. Visit this dealership at your own risk. After the tire rotation my tires were at 31-32 psi and they didn't add washer fluid. Who knows what else they forgot to do. Left messages for the manager to call me and he wouldn't respond. I requested my 12 point inspection or whatever it was to be mailed or emailed to me. Never received it. read more

We then drove over an hour to see the vehicle. We were able to evaluate the vehicle, which revealed it to be unclean, smoke smelling with exterior damage to the right front tire/rim and left anterior aspect of the vehicle. The price of the car was then quoted at double the price listed and shown on Carfax. We were quoted multiple "fees" without definitive explanation of what the fees covered and attempted multiple times to speak to the manager to go over the fees. Staff came across very unprofessional. I made an appointment to come see and test drive the car this morning between 11 and 12. I arrived at the dealership and asked for her; she went to get the keys After about 10 minutes she came back to tell me that the vehicle had been taken to Punta Gorda this morning! Another individual (did not identify himself) said that they could go to Punta Gorda to pick up the car and that I could wait for an hour while they did so. I declined as I had just driven an hour from Sarasota and didn't have that kind of time. No apology was offered, and I felt completely disregarded as a potential customer. Frankly, I am appalled that any business can operate like that, especially when I was prepared to make a cash purchase. This level of customer service is appalling. Will never deal with Plattner again. Found the car I was looking for there online. After some haggling got salesman to agree to $200 a month payment plan over 5 years. Was sent to financial office to sign papers, which I did, but obviously did not read the fine print closely enough as I discovered, after a few months of payments, that I had signed a 6 year agreement. They also offer a "free lifetime oil changes" at the time of sale, only to find out at my second oil change that it's only free if I also have about $200 worth of additional maintenance done, and agree to continue to follow the maintenance schedule they lay out for following oil changes - sorry folks it's not a free oil change if I have to drop a couple hundred bucks for additional maintenance. Judging from other reviews on this outfit I have no idea how these people stay in business. read more

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had while trying to buy a vehicle.had one price online then tried to add $7500 of "accessories" onto the price which were things the truck came with from the factory including am/fm radio, power mirrors, sunroof etc. also the salesman was cussing at me and trying to get me to leave the property to go fight him because I did not agree with how they hid this accessories amount. Also the rear end was about to fall out of it after it had supposedly went through their whole check over on the truck and the underside of the truck was caked with mud and they didn't think that was a problem. Vehicle was advertised at $15,000 we drove over an hour to look at it. $15,000 for the vehicle, $1800 in dealer fees then $3900 in "reconditioning fees" which included some bs paint and interior protection. How can you charge $3900 in reconditioning fees and the vehicle had 4 bald tires and headlights so faded that you could barely see the bulbs. What was reconditioned for that amount of $$$$ I ask, salesperson could not answer that question. And no negotiations on it either. Was really looking forward to the purchase and was ready to take delivery on the spot but not after seeing all the charges, no thanks you can screw someone else. Inspected the 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 to find it has a cracked windshield, dirty oil, and a significant oil leak. Aside from these problems i found CarFax showed odometer and title problems. Not only was the dealership completely unaware of all these problems, they were not willing to work with me on price whatsoever! Added $3000 for a non-negotiable package that "must come with all of their used vehicles", an extra $2000 for not financing with GM, on top of more fees.
