First and foremost, Rick was an exceptional salesman to deal with - friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. If you plan to buy a car, definitely ask for him. - 5 Stars for Rick! Secondly, the price that you see online is not the actual price. I drove an hour one way with the intent to buy a truck at the advertised price online... Unfortunately, I did not end up purchasing the truck I went to see. The vehicle was listed on their website for a very fair price, but during the negotiation process I learned there was a $2,999 in-house warranty that is both non-optional and non-negotiable. Between that required warranty and limited flexibility on my trade-in value, I ultimately did not get the truck for the online listed price... which I was fully prepared to pay. The truck was listed online for $32,000, but the sales manager would not go below $38,000, and that figure already included $1,700 positive equity from my trade. I understand that some of the difference stemmed from taxes and fees, plus the mandatory warranty. However, I arrived at the dealership with the intent to pay the listed $32,000... hoping my trade-in's equity would help cover taxes and fees. The sales managers unwillingness to remove the in-house warranty that was not advertised or match another dealer's trade-in offer ultimately killed the deal. - 1 star for forcing a customer to purchase the $2,999 in house Desoto warranty even when the customer plans to purchase the other aftermarket warranty during the finance phase, 1 star for lowballing a trade-in, and not being willing to negotiate even when the customer is willing to pay the sticker price of the vehicle. At the end of the day, Rick went above and beyond to try to make the deal work and I appreciate that. read more

My husband purchased a Jeep from this dealership in July 2025. When issues started coming up, we reached out because we were explicitly told we had a warranty. We were even emailed documentation stating the vehicle was covered. Now that the Jeep is no longer working, the dealership is suddenly claiming there is no warranty at all, completely contradicting what they put in writing. When I called to clarify, I was spoken to extremely disrespectfully, told to essentially "go screw myself," that I'm one of those people that want stuff for free and then hung up on And blocked my number This is not just poor customer service ,it's dishonest and unprofessional. Selling a vehicle, confirming warranty coverage in writing, and then refusing to honor it while treating customers this way is unacceptable. They gave me a total but made it very difficult to get an itemized breakdown. When they finally provided itemized details, neither GAP nor the extended warranty was included, and the price was actually higher than what they advertised online. I came in with my partner specifically to purchase a used vehicle we had seen several ads for online. We called ahead and asked if the vehicle was available and were told yes. We arrived and were shuffled around and then finally told they had "Good news and bad news." They then took us to view a vehicle that was in service and had the engine torn apart. Despite the issue we were willing to proceed with a deal pending repairs. When the numbers came back, a vehicle that was advertised at $18,000 came back at $26,000. When we began asking lots of questions about why there were close to $8,000 in taxes and fees the salesperson said she'd get her manager. Manager Chad came over and was immediately rude and did not want to answer any questions. He stated that the state of Florida mandates dealer fees (that is not at all true) and then refused to tell us what the fee was for. Then when we asked him to explain another $2,900 fee, he basically said it was for a 90 day warranty which I said we were not interested in as we could buy a separate warranty for less. He became increasingly combative with every question. After I finally just said "I don't think you want to sell us a car." He said "No I don't" and tore up the offer in front of us. Then I asked politely who his manager was and he told me that not only was he the manager he also owned the dealership. As we were walking out he followed us and told us to leave immediately (as though we'd ever do business there after how we were treated.) Our sales person, DeAsia was fantastic! Kept us updated on what was going on and eager to take care of problems we had with the car (new tire and battery). The reason we got a new tire was because when I was doing a walk around the car, I saw that the front left driver side tire had a small slit in the sidewall. I guess no one else saw that so when she brought it to the manager's attention, that's when they addressed getting a new tire. She then proceeded to take it to get gas in it, which was very nice but got in trouble with her manager because she drove it on the bad tire. Well, if I wouldn't have seen that, we would've driven it home to Punta Gorda so I don't see what the problem was. I am glad I found it while we were at the dealership because if we would have drove it home and then found that they would've probably found a way to not replace the tire saying it was something that we did . It is not. Have spoken with Joey the sales person, Michael the sales manager, and the GM. All of which have sworn they would call me back. None have bothered to call back. I inquired and a 2023 Ford Raptor I was interested in purchasing. The salesman suggested that I order one directly from Ford because I would save on the up charging that the dealerships were doing on new F-150 Raptors. He said they up charge over the MSRP between 10-20 thousands dollars. I thought that was crazy. Charging someone $20,000 over MSRP and as soon as you drive the truck off the lot it would depreciate the normal $10,000 plus the uncharged amount of $20,000. Crazy So the salesman helped me order the exact truck I wanted. Plus I put a down payment down on the truck. The salesman said the down side of ordering the truck is that it would take 3-6 months before it would be delivered. I was fine with that as long as I was not going to pay the up charge. I waited 5 months and then called the dealership. I was assured it was on order. I called another months later and was given the same story. I waited another month and was still told the same thing. Make sure you ask ALL the right questions. We recently purchased a used car from this dealership long distance. Because it was fairly new (2019) we did not ask whether the car had two keys available. When the car arrived, there was only one key. They tried to brush it off, but if you've traded a car in recent year, you know that dealers ALWAYS ask how many keys and if you don't have two, they will charge you for the second one. These keys are expensive - this one is nearly $500. We asked for them to either provide another key at their cost, or reimburse us for getting one made. So far, all we've heard is crickets. read more

I would give zero stars of possible. My husband and I went here on July 23, 2024 in Arcadia from Bradenton. Christine the sales person and her manager (we did not get his name) told my husband through Christine's text that he would accept $11,000 difference in cash to trade our vehicle, a 2020 Cadillac Escalade ESV in excellent condition with 50,000 miles on it and purchasing from them a 2020 Ford Raptor, with 30,000 miles, with several issues, but could be repaired. We drove over an hour to get there, test drove the Raptor, agreed to purchase, then went into the office to what we thought would be to sign papers and write them a check for $11,000 plus tax, tag and title transfer, however the manager changed the agreed price, from $11,000 to $15,000 on a paper he gave to Cristine to give to us. We of course said no, so Christine went over to the manager and she came back with a price of $13,500 difference now. We said the agreement was for $11,000, not $15,000, nor $13,500, it was $11,000. My husband was very polite and thanked Christine for her time, but I walked out calling them all slimy and stating why lie to us and make us drive over an hour AFTER agreeing to an amount, if you were not going to do it? If anything, the Raptor should have been discounted more, since it was NOT in the condition specified online or over the phone, it had multiple issues, but our ESCALADE is in excellent condition. After the standard negotiations I was asked to sign and finalize the deal, but didn't because I wanted a repair to first be completed on the car I was purchasing. The manager Rick wasn't happy with the delay but offered to make the repair. The salesman Tony was a great guy and told me the repair would be completed in a few days. Bought the vehicle online, had it delivered the next day. That part went smooth as silk. After we washed the coffee splatters and vacuumed up the crumbs that the guy who drove it left for us (-1 Star), the vehicle was as expected. Unfortunately, they've been non responsive with regards to the other stuff they said came with the vehicle, like the 1 year satellite radio and the warranty information, which I've requested information on several times now. I'd like my satellite radio, and I'd certainly like the warranty documentation. I requested the info from "JR" when he delivered the vehicle and was told that "back in his day, they did it different, but that he'd check on it". He never got back to me. (-1 Star) I subsequently received a "thanks for your business, please let me know if you have any questions, and please review us on Google" email. I responded with an "I'd like that information" email. I received a response from Bethany saying "JR is out today and he'll dig into it when he returns". I followed up several days later with both a phone call and an email. No response. (-1 star) I'll update the review if they bother to make it right. Overcharged, Misdiagnosed and Lied to on F350 2004 pick up. Ray from service department told me $258.00 charge to have the truck diagnosed by computer I ask him, with my wife by my side, will you waive the diagnostic charge if i give them the job he said yes told me my driveshaft bearing and the bracket was so bad that bracket was all rusted and cancer rot. the technician said it shouldn't even be on the road that it was too dangerous. I said fix it $1,000.00 to do job. next day called, misdiagnosed and said that it is the #4 fuel injector still $1,000.00 to fix it telling me that it is usually $1,500.00 to do the job I called my brother who is a ford mechanic in Virginia told me the book calls for 2.5 hours plus fuel injector. Called Ray in service department told me $109.37 per hour to work on truck and the fuel injector was $379.00. I also called the parts department and ask the price on fuel injector he told me $303.93 I called Ray told him to rework the bill. Call me back. He called me back told me $791.80 plus tax I did the math 2.5 x 109.37 = $273.43 plus $303.93 = $577.36 plus tax at 7% = $617.77. picked up truck BILL was $800.07 charged me for 3.5 hours Ray told me 2.5 to do job plus one hour reprogram CM and the FICM and one fuel injector plus Svc admin fee and Haz waste fee paid the bill in disgust and left I will never go back and I will tell my friends sent letters to Ford Motor Company, Better Business Bureau and the business owner. Got home did the math 3.5 x 109.37= 382.80 was charged labor $417.80 called up told me that it is an adjustment fee?/??? over charged me. Manager said he was not refunding the $35.00 overcharge on the labor which was multiplied wrong.
